Why should they cancel a line they just started? They shown prototypes for and Hound and a Devastator kit in other places, as well as a third model-kit line of tinier figures done in super-deformed style. If anything, thei're just getting started.

I will admit I'm pretty hyped for the IDW design kits, but I'm very curious of what they can do in term of their own designs moving forward, and with pretty much no good alternatives for good quality gunpla-like kits, I don't think the Furai stuff is going away any time soon.

    Ebay:
Down for the model kit of IDW Prime and Megatron.
That big Prime is kinda tempting.

Shame Devastator wasn't shown. If Bumblebee is the size of Optimus, I wonder how big (more like small) Devastator will be. Really digging the style of the Furai model kits regardless of size. Studio Trigger does some good work.

    WHERE?! MUST SEE.

He seems to be scaling with Prime and Starscream much better than BB, not completely, but he's not so out of scale that bugs me.

And here's Devastator too for those who missed it. He is DEFINATELY oos too, of course, but looks pretty cool nonetheless. Would be worth having it they were to make an Omega Supreme or a Superion for him to be displayed with.

That's very much two end members of a spectrum XD XD

Mecha's on a bit of a drop off in new shows atm But when they do come out, the aesthetics are actually pretty variable. Just compare something like Darling In the Franxx to Captain Earth. I know Trigger has a new solo show coming up with what looks like a kinda monstrous mech (which I've some hope for since unlike Darling, they won't be pulling out of production at the last minute, leaving a partner company to kiiiinda fuck up the ending of an otherwise enjoyable show) but a lot of the sci-fi shows are leaning more small scale.

Know what's a dead genre? Guys in robot suits. I haven't seen one of those in forever.

They released 2 kits...a month ago? Be a bit odd to cancel a line with at least 5 figures in it after a month. Plus from what I understand the reviews are very solid. I need to get the cash, but wanna preorder the nemesis and IDW Optimus now they're up, waiting for Megs as well.

Thanks! He's quite beefy for a Hound...guess they are taking cues from Bayverse Hound or FOC Hound in some ways. Doesn't have the wow factor for me like Devastator; comes down to what color they paint him.

I really want to try one of these kits, but these designs just don't do a thing for me. :(

Transformers model kits, you say? Ooooh!
And one is Autobot Megatron? Yes please!!
Hopefully they\'re not stupidly priced like the Drift/Tarn/Star-Saber.

The model kits are waaaaay cheaper, Optimus and Starscream are about 40-50 euro in Europe.

I still have my AM Bee, so that Bumblebee kit is a must. I'd love to get Devy as well and maybe even IDW Megatron. I haven't built a model in at least twenty five years so this should be interesting.
