the ones linked here earlier come in pairs, but make sure you choose a small size as the medium size is for OSKO combiners.

If it helps, there is also an abundance of individual weapons for the Dinobots in the bot modes too, along with an unpainted Large Sword for combined mode (in addition to the painted one).

Some people have been playing with the waist piece in this set over the PE one because it seems to offer more range of motion for the hips and thighs. I haven't yet experimented with this though as I have preferred Foxracing's combination (minus the shapeways combiner port extensions, Noneff parts for Swoop or the gattling guns on the back since I don't own any of these).

I did have to sand down all of the TDW connector plugs on the hands and feet so they wouldn't stress or break the ports on Slag and Sludge in particular.

For me...this was all worth it because I wanted a damn good looking Volcanicus, and I believe I do currently.

If you just want the best shoulder port stability you could possibly get without stressing other parts of Grimlock, then PE is the way to go, if you could only choose one and still have him look great without the worry of stressed joints.

Just know you will likely break the original forearms of Grimlock beyond repair, during removal, if you are not careful.

Or just buy PE for one Volcanicus and TDW for the other Volcanicus

Ok another question that was probably already answered, with the perfect effect pc 21 feet, are they known to break the port for the legs? And also does the dream wave break the ports either? The one I get will depend on if it is known to break the figures.

If you don't carefully sand either down, the chances are high you may break the ports or severely stress them if you just force them in stock.

Around, only sand down the sides. Don't do it too hard though.

In my experience, it's just the feet that cause trouble.

Found a good solution to the "sword's top half keeps coming undone" issue with PC-23

take two very thinly-cut strips of scotch tape and line them along the sides (not the front and back) of the peghole of the serrated black sword (the one not made of transcluscent plastic) and it should provide the additional tension needed to keep the combined top half of the sword in place.

The new feet, Starscream, Grimlock and Abominus feet, only do side to side. The older designs go backwards as well as side to side.

How did you modify the TDW chest plate to get grimlocks shoulders to stay like that.

Remove the "bulge" on the back of the chestplate right by where it contacts the shoulders in Hasbro configuration.

I did that but the shoulders still don't have enough room. It's still pushing the Torso apart.

to clarify, the feet relevant to CW had ball-jointed ankles, the POTP-relevant feet have ratcheted swivels. Maybe it was for stability reasons, but those ratchets aren't anything close to strong either.

Oh oh oh I just had me a brilliant idea

Has anyone considered bashing grumlick up as deathsaurus and remolding the remaining subplots as the geistwrs from brave exkaiser?
