Wow...they just saw the scifi panel button in the modelling program and went mad, didn\'t they

 

After seeing these, I'm kind of up in the air with Skytread. He looks nice & solid, but he seems too... simple? I'm not even upset about no individual bot modes, & i don't know what could be done to improve him... Just not impressed right now, but we'll see later.

Reflector is the biggest surprise for me. He just really pops! I'm not happy about getting 3 of them, so I plan on getting 1 & haunting the junkion forums for the next few years for the other 2. I'm patient.

Also, I wish we got better pics of the Air Strike Patrol, they look pretty nifty! I was only planning on getting 1 Micromasters patrol, but between this, Battle Patrol, and the cassettes, it will be tough.

 

Do you know if we will be getting any pictures of iron hide or any new movie Masterpiece figures

 

Hm just noticed, do they all have this weathered paint job? I already hate that on customs. I mean, some people can do it very well and it's their toys, but I still don't like it. I'll skip Megatron then as well. I think United Megatron looks better faced against Cloud Optimus anyway and I like Cloud Optimus much more than this Optimus. This one is too blocky, not dynamic enough. But the heads on Megatron and Optimus are killer. They can keep the cad files for the heads.

 

FLYWHEELS!!!!!!!!! and no odd seperate mini-bot modes like Battletrap -  MY WALLET IS READY!!!!

This shit looks fucking amazing!
Soundwave has the tank, tower, AND tape deck modes on a super pose -able figure that clean that's a goddamn quadruple changer!? Engineering marvel. He shockwave and reflector all seem to be able to pull off Cybertronian vehicle, G1 hand held accessory, and Robot modes. Then there are the armor pieces that anyone can use, the minicon interaction, the fact that brunt back compatible to Tripticon. This is going to be SUPER fun for what I like most about these toys which is to PLAY with them. I wish Flywheels had lil bots, we see more of the cassettes and minicons because my dumb ass gets cofused looking at that messy display but over all I'm shit hot excited for this stuff even though I have versions of almost every oen of these characters. Well except reflector, the fact that I army build means I will be getting 3 of him. I just hope I can find him/ any of this stuff with the way the bungle distribution so bad and so consistently lately.

Should I go ahead and preorder them from Ollies?

 

Flywheels not having 2 separate robot modes after experiencing Battletrap is super disappointing.

It's gonna be damn near impossible to get 3 Refractors, isn't it... Do like that it's possible, but damn.

Starscream is also kind of a huge disappointment with how much jet is just hanging there. Looks really, really bad in vehicle mode.

I do not even understand what is going on there with Shockwave.

But hey, Brunt looks really cool. As do Soundwave and his casettes. Mostly just glad we're finslly getting a look at the Cons.

 

Yeah. The weathering and greebling is very off-putting.
I have no idea why they thought that was a good idea.

 

Starscream looks more like a Colonial Viper from BSG than the tetrajets in MTMTE. Like he's just missing something.

Shockwave does look like a late-season Gundam villain MS. But I really like his starship mode.

But Flywheels is everything. I loved Battletrap but would have preferred they kept the two vehicles into one robot thing. Brunt is amazing. I'm down with the Targetmasters and Micromasters. I wish they would have kept the Legends size class because that's where I feel Refraktor/Reflector would have been better placed. Especially since he seems to be a gun for his individual alt-mode.

 

Will Flywheels spontaneously transform if I tell a lie?

 

I mean, it's pretty straightforward. He has attachable battle armour.

Hyperbole. I do get that, I'm just not a fan of it at first take.

 

I can't imagine they wouldn't give us his tape deck mode. Reflector has a weird little vehicle alt mode and also his camera mode. If anything m I'm sure someone will come up with a way to fanmode it.

Why did they recess Megatron\'s head like that in a few photos?

Inner detail around Shockwave\'s eye is awesome.

Shockwave\'s and Soundwave\'s alt modes are shit, like, seriously, couldn\'t they at least made Shockwave a thing on wheels? But at elast you can give him his lamppost mode, so there\'s that, but I never licked Shockwave and Megatron jsut turning into a gun, so even if you can make a fan mode of his in that mode, then it would still be a bad alt mode to me.

But Shocwave\'s armour looks awesome.

Starsceam\'s alt mode is perfect!... If not for the legs. And arms. So basically, if it wasn\'t a robot, it would be perfect.

Surprisingly, my favourite of these decepticon is Brunt, and I didn\'t even know who he was. Hell, we wasn\'t even a somebody before. Kinda hope they\'ll repaint, or retool him into Tankor. BRUNT PULLVERIZE!

Flywheels, or SKythread, ro whoever he is is the worst. Not only do his jet mode look ugly and garish. His tank mode is just legs. And I know some of these cybertronian modes look too earthy, but he\'s a freaking regular-ass jet! And a pair of trousers on threads. Where\'s all of the lucious sculpted detail the other bots have? Where\'s the battle damage at? Why doesn\'t he have respective bot modes for his tank and jet like Battletrap? Not only does he not fit the aesthetic of the line, he doesn\'t fit his duocon bud!

Why ae the fusion canon and the null rays attached o Megatron\'s and Starscream\'s shoudler?! How do they aim like that? This is stupid. Megatron at least ahs pegs on his wrists, so there\'s not problem there, but I see none on Starscream. He either has them on his shoudler looking like an idiot, or holds them in his hands. WHich I guess is fine, but the thing with the Screamer\'s weapons is that they\'re attached to his arms.

Last thought: Prime looks so pretty. Like, those dreamy blue eyes, with some black eyeliner, and the matching blue helmet. Seximus Prime!

I didn't post this here but after the Bumblebee trailer, I figured the Decepticons reveal had been held back because this series would loosely be based on their movie appearance.
I say loosely as in it's interchangeable, it can be a prequel to the films, the cartoon, the comics etc.
