Damn that looks cool! I have to travel to a larger Walmart to find anything...my local smaller Walmart has gotten really bad with stocking anything.

DC has some great stuff. FWIW the current run of Mister Miracle is probably one of the best modern comics in decades . Like seriously it’s up there with the best of Alan Moore’s stuff. You can also jump in with no background, maybe giving the Wikipedia page of the character a read. It stands alone. It concludes at the end of this month. It’s absolutely going to be one people reference as an eminent work in the genre for decades.

I’m familiar with Mister Miracle as the New Gods are one of my favorite things about DC. Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll check it out.

Awesome! Just be wary it is very different than Jack Kirby stuff. It’s much less a superhero story and more an examination of childhood trauma and ptsd. Tom King, the time behind it, wrote let year’s Vision run of you were familiar with it. Also if you like to share with kids, be wary it is definitely 17+, very adult themes. But probably the best thing being published right now.

Cool, as long as there are good stories and/or art, I’m happy. I really liked that Vision run so it’s good to know Tom King is involved. Thanks again!

This is weird. Mattel decided to pack cases of just Harley and Spoiler. The other five with the BAF parts are due in a nebulous "fall 2018." I also can't quite tell what the red and black things with Harley are...earmuffs?

Not weird. Just Mattel being Mattel. Many of their previous BAF waves have been split in two, as well.

Works so well when the first wave sells so poorly that nobody ever stocks the second...

YMMV, looked rather plain to me. However I haven't been into DCUC/Multiverse for a long time so my opinion is tinged by that.

Well its clear DC isn't going to be sold in stores anymore thankfully I just placed a preorder for the DC Multiverse Mera, Black Manta, and Orm through Amazon! They had them for preorder due Oct. 1 and it says I'll get them Oct. 3rd so heads up anyone else pissed off at the lack of Multiverse on the pegs.

What gives you this idea? Plenty of people are finding the Aquaman stuff and even the Clayface wave has shown up here and there.

I've been to so many Walmarts and Targets as far as a two hour drive away from where I live. Nobody has any of the new DC Multiverse figures, some have empty pegs, some have leftovers of the Steppenwolf and Ares wave, and some got in the Wonder Girl & DKR Wonder Woman. But since Mattel did new packaging these figures have had no shelf presence, Clayface was a no show (I got Supes & Batwoman off BBTS and Two Face off Amazon but still can't get Green Lantern for a good price) and now the Aquaman is a no show. Good for you guys that can actually find this stuff on the shelf but there are people like me who have stores that can't do their job and some lines or some figures will never see the light of day at retail.

Doesn't mean that the line isn't gonna be sold at retail anymore. Honestly, my area was just like yours up til a month or two ago.

I kinda feel like they're nunchucks, since there are two of them.

That seems like a real stretch. Sort of like when you'd get a TMNT figure and there'd always be at least one accessory that was a clear WTF.

I didn't really care for Black Manta until Young Justice. Maybe when that comes back for season 3, Mattel will take another shot at figures. The upcoming Multiverse one has a really big head.

I was always a fan since the old Superfriends and Justice Leauge cartoons. Mostly for the suit.

    Dang, that does look good.

I recently got the Justice League 3-pack of Steppenwolf (with the LED axe), Superman, and Batman for almost nothing on Amazon. I was actually fairly surprised at the quality of the figures, if Batman and Superman were just a little bit bigger I'd actually probably use them in place of some other lines figures. I actually like their choice for soft good capes. Though as it is, I think fairly highly of the Steppenwolf figure.
