I'm still hoping for a submarine mode.   I'd be fine with a tank too though.

Man, I was really hoping the Air Strike Patrol would include a black and purple guy and a blue and gray guy. Preferably Tailwind. Oh well.

 

I wonder if they're reusing another of the Sky Patrol's name for a different colored guy because the other name wasn't available?

That could be the case as well...but I tend to think they would just do some weird variation on the name instead.

On a serious note we had a nice preview of Prime, Sideswipe & Firebolt the day before SDCC, it’d be nice if we got another one for the Decepticons today.

Oh poo I was hoping we'd get Tailwind. Ah well Whisper is getting an update so still works for me. Still sucks we're only getting half of the squads though.

 

I'm just imagining the test groups: "Alright kids we've got this brand new toy for you to play with called Megatron - and it turns into a submarine! Wait, stop turning it upside down! It's not a gu- damnit Timmy it's a submarine not a gun!"  

 

I’d love gun Megatron...but in legends size so the othe figures could hold him, not me.

 

They actually did make a legends class gun Megatron, it was a good few years ago though.

 

Like CW Legends Shockwave...lol He's confirmed to be a Voyager. There has been some third-party release of his gun modes, both G1 and Classics...Also, there was a Targetmaster made of him. I actually have all 3.

Honestly, if they got away with making Megatron a gun in Classics, I don't see why they can't now, unless toy regulations got a lot stricter in the last decade. I would rather he turn into a tank though. However, we do have a Megatron that turns into a tank and a jet, so there's already that. I think IDW had pre-war Megatron as a drill machine before he became a gladiator (which is what the MMC Megatron can become).

I can't really say I am interested in the micromasters as they never appealed to me as a child, though they may be fun to display with my Titans,
but I can't state how excited I am for rest of this line! I seriously hope we get a look at Megatron, Starscream, Shockwave, Skytread (Flywheels), and a tease for Omega Supreme as the next Titan tomorrow/this week.

Last year's NYCC reveal was Halloween-themed and centered on the Terrorcons, Rodimus Unicronus, and a mock-up of Predaking's wings.

So if they don't have a booth, I expect something similar. A smaller display focused on the Decepticons. Likely a tetrajet (because one's all you need if the rest are all going to be different colors) and then Megatron and Shockwave. And then a tease of something big to come (either the next Titan, or something like Star Saber or Piranacon)

Shockwave is likely going to be the Rodimus Unicronus "WTF" reveal. If he follows Ultra Magnus and is a smaller figure who evolves using armor formed from parts of his alt-mode...which may giveaway either Deathsaurus or Thunderwing deciding on which direction they take.

 

I hope they look different than Hasbro\'s siege.
