That's awesome, I'll have to keep that in mind for future purchases. BTW, "Stasis Pod", is a great name for it! :thumb

The stuff that's stuck in Canada is STILL stuck in Canada. That much inventory locked up for a small business like Captured Prey is rough. Thanks, asshole border guy.

    Thanks Chip! ;-)

The bigger question is if CP goes back to TFCon this year can they just pick up their stuff at the boarder and sell it at this years con?

That's interesting. I figure 2005 operates like most conventions and marketplaces, jacking up prices until people stop participating. Hopefully Canada lays off whatever they're worked up over too.

It's not Canada that is the problem, it's US Customs. Despite that all this stuff was just taken OUT of the US a few days earlier and was already here.

I can't imagine traveling the distance you did for TFcon, let alone putting up with manufactured problems at the border.

anyone heard from this place lately? I have bought many items there (still have one on preorder) but can't get any reply from him for weeks. Even called his cell (his voicemail answers) but get no response. This place out of business now? website is still up but I don't even get the auto replies anymore.

That's weird - he's definitely still operating, I was at the KY meetup just on Saturday, lol. I'll DM him on FB for you.

And I just saw him at the theater on '86 Movie night handing out CP swag bags. Got a Kreon capsule, sticker sheet, store coupon, fruit snacks and a rice krispie treat.

Hey man, I'm, sorry, I do believe you left a voicemail last night, I didn't get home until pretty late so I was planning to call you back today. From the sound of things there may be a spam filter keeping you from getting replies.

shouldn't be as its just webmail (no spam filter on my side) and I have added you to the safe sender list in microsofts email system a couple years ago. I did include an separate email address in one of my emails and haven't received anything at that one yet either (not sure if you tried that one or not but you were added to its safe sender list over a year ago also). If you are on a block list for them my main email from Microsoft is a big enough company that you may want to get with your email provider to get you off any black lists. Looking in spamhause (Blocklist Removal Center - The Spamhaus Project) I don't see you listed on any of the major systems. spamhause is not the only place to look though but it is one of the most thorough.

I too wrote a couple of emails, and no replies. I don't want to reveal who I am, but please check mails from as late as 2 weeks ago.

To make it easier for Orson you may want to look in your sent box and forward again but put at top of it that you didn’t hear back. Also put your phone and if possible another email address from a different company if you have one. I haven’t heard from him yet but expect to soon.

Hey I just wanted to take a moment and say thanks for the help. I did get a call back from Orson of Captured Prey last night. He was not aware of an email problem and said he didn't get mine other than the one I sent directly through his site. He took care of everything and is looking into the email issue I let him know I wasn't the only one. Anyways just wanted to let everyone know he is still around and has no plans of going anywhere as of now. Also thanks for the link to that article as that helped me get in touch with him.
