For crying out loud, character designers, you have two jobs. One--make the bot look like it can actually transform, and Two--set him on fire. And it's not like being on fire would make it impossible to make a toy of him, that implies the Fallen ever gets toys. Yes I know about the ROTF Fallens, I own one of them.

 

I hope they will add collaboration character after Megatronus.

 

Eh, not a big fan of Machinima\'s The Fallen.  Great voice, mediocre design.

Up until this version, nearly all of his interpretations have gotten a transformable toy.

That's the Unicron tainted version. Where he became the fallen by siding with Unicron and gained a massive power boost from it.

This is Aligned Megatronus/The Fallen. The one that hadn't sided with Unicron. Different stories and design goals.

Though walking incinerator Fallen should likely make a come back as something else new as a Unicron Herald. This Megatronus/The Fallen is before the reformat/power up by Unicron.

Think of it like he's missing the Nemesis Matrix. Like how Megatron became Galvatron. If the RID one is any indication, they'll likely find a way to merge that aspect in more still yet to come as the character evolves and has story growth. So to do one like that, they need to do his before first.

Because if he's ever full destroyed or incapacitated, you know that Unicron would rebuild him as a new servant for his own comeuppance over his defeat in ages long ago. Based on the intel report, that seems to foreshadow that too. The last line in particular. So we may see another version added much later.

And incinerator the Fallen was mocked by fans pretty badly before it became known as a "cool design". Both as a concept and as a design before after many years it was finally accepted.

 

anyone else getting a Thunderwing vibe from the alt mode? it looks damn near like the Garatron Thunderstorm toy.

 

They should've went with the walking furnace of destruction instead. Original Fallen will always be best Fallen.

 

that alt mode really reminds me of Prime Megatron with the whole chest plate splitting open and becoming wings on the front. Makes me wonder if we'll see a heavy remould in the future

Why right now it's referred to as banishment, and his true "Fallen" nature has yet to give rise.

 

the moment he killed Solus he became The Fallen, it was established with the new lore with the whole aligned bullshit. they just refuse to call him that for some reason... especially when it was supposed to be his true name that was the "thing not to be spoken of" yet it seems to have been flipped for no reason.

 

He is an cybertronian Thanos.
