I would rather get the OS KO of Hasbro defensor or wait for the yes model guardia to get completed. TFC defensor was great back then, but there are other cheaper options.
It's... ok. The limbs are somewhere between Deluxe and Voyager sizes, and the engineering feels kind of dated. I don't care for the aesthetics of some of the team members, especially their Groove. The combined mode is better than Uranos, Ares, and Hades, but he's still not super stable due to the Energon-style combiner ports and the pegs used to attach the feet. Plus, and this is super subjective, while TFC really nailed the G1 toy look he's overall kind of blocky and not particularly dynamic. He's also a bit tall to go with other Hasbro combiners, but a little short to go with the Warbotron-sized ones, but if that size is your combiner jam he's kind of the only complete option. For a little bit more, you might want to try the Yes Model OS KO of Maketoys Guardia (although how much more we're not sure, because the YM Hotspot isn't out yet). I had the original, and while I thought the individual robots were a tad fiddly I think I like them better than TFC's, and the combined mode looks fantastic. Me personally, though, I'm waiting for GT to finish theirs. It'll be the most expensive, but they do the best individual robots, and the combined mode looks like a bigger Guardia.
Was the first modern scramble city combiner iirc? That was cool. The limbs look better on a oversized ko hotspot imo.
Sure why not. He's a big ol pile of fun. Ankles in the combiner feet kinda suck. But the rest of the set is pretty good.
looks good i prefer the tfc ambulance to the combiner wars as goes for the police car, one thing i did not like about the helicopter on the combiner wars is that it was a repaint of alpha bravo had misiles attached and did not feel like a proper rescue helicopter , to be honest £130.00 for a tfc prometheus is a good deal as i have seen it previously for over £200.00
I sold my uranos, but i've still got this guy. Mine is super stable. It's great for its time and still holds up now.
i made up my mind and bought the TFC Prometheus it cost £134.00 here is where i bought it from Hot Transformation TFC Toys Prometheus Defensor Set of 5 MIB Action Figure | eBay
HasTak gets a pass with the C+ add on kit. But TFC is turn key and delicious. There are ways to make him more toon accurate if you wanted to. DO IT.
on the combiner wars defensor i thought blades did not look much like a rescue helicopter still had its missiles as it was a repaint retool of alpha bravo , the apc on the combiner wars was not that keen on , as for the combiner wars hotspot it did not look much like a proper fire engine i think tfc hot spot nailed it as when i saw tfc hotspot i said hey its like one of those fire engines you see in america all of tfc protectobots look the part i like the police car and ambulance
