A slide in a little trivia presentation before the movie mentioned that Transformers: The Movie will be available on Blu-ray and Steelbook I think it was called. No date given for release.

Alright. Showtime soon! Got my poster. There's not even 30 people here...so that leaves 70+ extra posters. I'm gonna see if I can grab some leftovers after the movie.

If I get some extra I'll send one to you and anybody else for price of postage. I don't want to make any promises tho but I'll see what I can do.

Theater was mostly full. Good reaction to the Bumblebee preview. Also people in the theater were talking about it before the show started, and all had good things to say.

Good reactions to the movie. Two biggest applauses came from the opening credits and the ending.

The short doc with Stan Bush after the credits was a nice little surprise. I liked the acoustic versions of "The Touch" and "Dare" much more than I thought I would.

My only complain was that the picture quality was not good. Not sure what they used for the projection.

It was awesome! My youngest daughter came along but fell asleep. The top seats were almost full. No movie posters.
A couple questions that I'm sure have been asked before:
    1. How did Hot Rod and Kup know the other ship was at the planet of junk?
    2. Where was Snarl? I think I only saw his head once or twice...

Of all the times I've seen the movie, that question hit me for the first time too.

Also, I thought it would've been cool showing Starscream take advantage of the Decepticons fighting on Astrotrain, kinda like Monkeywrench did after the Dreadnok audition in "Arise Serpentor Arise".

I took my two girls. The younger one is six like I was when I first saw it in the theater. Lots of fun. We got posters. Someone else wasn’t real impressed with theirs:

    1. Didn’t make it to the movie, but I believe an early draft had them follow a trail of debris from the other ship.
    2. Snarl is only in it twice. This has been discussed for years. No one seems to know why he was left out, but his brief inclusions seem to be an error.

Had a great time! We drove an hour and a half to a Cinemark in Toledo and it was worth it. I've always wanted to see the original film on the big screen and although it is by no means a great movie it's still one of my favorites.

Just got back, it was fun. Enjoyed seeing the movie on the big screen again. Theatre was about 30 - 40% full.

I thought the Bumblebee preview was a bit dull - was hoping to see the new trailer on the big screen.

Saw it with my twin brother (a fellow board member here), a buddy of ours from the fandom, and another friend of ours who had never seen G1, let alone the movie before. Our theatre was full to the brim, and we all had a great time with the dorky trivia before the movie. Each of us got a nifty poster and had a spectacular evening making references and watching our clueless friend react to what was happening on screen. Best experience I've ever had with the movie

Just got back from theater in Denver. Had a great time. Made my kids go with me (although I've made them watch it countless times at home already). Got the movie poster - I think it looks frame worthy for my TF room.
