Anybody know if this will be available on target.com or will it be in-store only?

 

I saw a few of these at the local Target...almost picked one up since I didn't really care for the TR release. He looks like a decent SW in bot mode and his alt mode is much more attractive, IMO.

 

Here are some comparison photos. My daughter likes the FOC color scheme. I like the added detail with the dial and radio channels. It would be nice if she got a shoulder canon and a gun like the back of the box AND the instructions both indicate are supposed to be included. Feels like they shouldn't advertise that something is there when it isn't. There is no place for either piece in the inside plastic. Real bummer. My daughter won't admit it but she is disappointed. What a bummer.

UPDATE. Well, I'm just unlucky. Lol I picked up another and the weapons ARE inside on the left side in small bags.

 

No gun or shoulder cannon? That changes how I feel about picking this up.

He includes both. The shoulder cannon has painted on bullets as well, something the TR version lacked.

 

I just looked at other posts about that, he does include the cannon and gun. Think you got a bad box.

Are the gun and the shoulder cannon hidden somewhere inside the packaging?

 

They aren't in the plastic insert that is visible from the box window, they're tucked in a cavity behind the cardboard and the insert and the back of the box. @PrimalPrime maybe give the guts of your packaging another look, hopefully they're in there buddy!

 

I just realised hasbro made this because soundwave is in the movie and not for cassette tape nostalgia

 

It should be online I believe because Last Knight Hot rod was a Walmart exclusive and it was being sold online and in store also.

 

In the movie he looks like Soundwave but he's called Blaster.

Yeah. Suddenly this exclusive makes a lot more sense then we give it credit for originally. Well played Hasbro.

 

Have you tried looking behind or under the cardboard insert?

 

Yes. There was nothing except instructions. There is nowhere for the two ices to be attached either. They would have been loose. The box was completely sealed. I cut the tape myself. It's possible we got a bad box. Does anyone have physical confirmation that these pieces are included?

Yeah they are in there in a little plastic baggie. Not crazy about that, it's quite easy to see how they might get left out...

 

I finally found Soundwave and the cassette pack this afternoon. I like it better than the original Titans Return Soundwave, but I think I still like the Takara LG36 the best. Here's a comparison pic of all three.
