I love how the Seekers are actual Tetrajets in the trailer.

Looks like Acid Storm, Skywarp, and Thundercracker. Though they made Acid Storm a Conehead. neat.

I am going to assume that Megatron is sleeping under the Hoover Dam. question is, are they going to retcon his appearance as well? If they show him at all that is.

 

Apparently he has a slightly g1ish look and is. yes. Frozen under hoover damn.

 

Oh no I really didn’t want Megatron to look G1 too... I can deal with an arm cannon and some minor body reshaping, but I don’t want his head to look like it did in G1.

 

It would be a waste if they did not at least give us a glimpse of him stored in the S7 base. Just to remind us this is a prequel.

 

Funny that is my 1 MAJOR gripe aswell. I really do not like g1 megatron's head design. Everything else about g1 I am happy with. His head design is just so, so idk. Basic, and not in a good way.
I really hope Megatron in the future retains SOME of the bay's elements in his design, or atleast adopts a tf Prime megatron look. I like the teethy snarly megatron, idk why, but I do. Or even fall of cybertron Megatron. Just anything but g1 bucket head.

I completely agree. My favorite design for Megatron was always Animated Cybertronian Megatron. It took the best of G1, and the best of the movies, with the body shaped like G1, but all pretty spiky and movie-like in essence. The head especially kept that movie shape with a smoother look to it. But I completely agree with you about snarly movie Megatron. At the least, I want his head done right.

 

Really? Because soundwave is way different than in dotm or rotf and all others like optimus prime are different. Buddy watch G1 and the movies and then come back because I know it is a reboot.

 

You can't say for sure it's not. Because even the Producers when asked, had no idea if it was or wasn't lol.

 

Everything about the TFs has been changed from Bays TFs. Op, Soundwave, Shouckwave, Ravage, Cybertron and even the fact that Wheeljack is said to be in this as well as the fact that we now have Seekers as in G1 seekers where as in Bays TFs, we had piloted aircraft by generic Cons.

 

It is not because soundwave design is way different and so is optimus prime and all others
Example:If they did a new season in prime but didn't say that it was rebooted or anything because the story fits, but if the design of the characters was changed and the story doesn't seem to fit it would be a reboot then. Lol this is a bad example but you probably get the idea.

 

Show me what you're talking about bud? Because I've read the article a few times now and nowhere in it does it mention this is tied to Bays TFs at all. All it says is this is Bees Origin story and how Knight wanted use to see the TFs though "his eyes" as he seen them as a kid.
