Oakley Target and Meijer have nothing new TF-wise. Redbank Walmart doesn't either, TF section is 2 pegs wide right now. BUT, if you're into Star Wars, TVC Han Solo and Cassian Andor were IN the TF section for some reason. There was a Range Trooper too, but that came with me.
Tri-County Target. If whoever does this is on this forum, screw off. Distribution is bad enough without people doing this. That, and I enjoyed the HFTD Ironhide. That appears to be a DOTM weapon.
AH, that actually KILLS ME. I haven't found the SS yet, but I've also really wanted the HFTD Deluxe for ages.... but it would still be 30 bucks...
Whelp, gentlemen (and ladies, I'm not one to presume), it's been a pleasure, but I think this is about where I get off this merry-go-round. I got my Novastar the other day, the only things I really have left to hunt for are going to be MUNKY (NOT TRUK) and the Walgreens exclusive, and honestly the heart's just gone out of me between the distro problems for this last round and the... everything else. It's been fun. And expensive. But fun. Laters.
I'm not saying "never say never again", but... man, I'm just not feeling any of the stuff they're putting out. Cyberverse is hot garbage, the movie stuff is not my bag\, and I am still really up in the air about Siege. I think when it comes down to it, I was/am 100% here for the combiners. I saw through Titans Return and was ok with it because they were fun toys, but I was super excited when PotP rolled out with the Combiner Wars 2.0 gimmick... only to have terrible distribution, insane scalper markup, forced scarcity, and the final insult to the already mounting pile of injury, to have Hasbro go "nah, I think we're done" halfway through it. King Starscream got two limbs, as did Elita Infinite and City Guardian (or whatever Hotshot was supposed to be). And no Seacons, not even a Seacon redeco gift set thing or G2 color dinobots. I would have bought that all in a heartbeat, but instead I've been confronted time and again with empty shelves that look as bleak and desolated as a 1980s toy store a day before christmas. I feel betrayed. And I'm tired. And when Siege showed Chromia, explicitly having had her Combiner War compatibility removed, I felt that was just like the FINAL "fuck you" to all of us who enjoyed the combiners and have hung on the last few years. So I won't say never, but... if I am, it's not going to be for a while.
Austintown Walmart had 8 of the bumblebee movie speed series (legends),including Optimus,I took one of each, not in the transformers alse, but in the hot wheels one,on right side toward end of aisle, including hot rod, barricade, and bumblebee bee, don’t know if this the first sighting of these, when I find the receipt I’ll a pic
Any good stuff west of Cleveland? I checked out the Avon Walmart and its barren except for a Blot, some Cindersaurs, a bashed-up Hun-Gurr and a SS Grimlock. I eagerly await the G1 reissues.
Walmart on Reading Road has been pretty dry as of late... but things got interesting today. They also had Cyberverse Scouts Wave 2 there too. Didn't pick anything up so it's still all fresh pickings if anyone's into the simpler stuff.
