I have both kits, and have it in TDW shoulder mode. I have not observed the stress on the chest that other people have reported. However, I don't move it much. I think as long as you have the back support piece firmly plugged in to the stock Grim feet, it should be fine.

 

well i will say my grimlock was just stressed befor the twc back plate so i would not chance it . but thats my opinion

 

there should be no concern about the shoulders of the tdw configuration, the back plate holds it steady. tdw is awesome, no need to double dip with the PE kit

 

I tried several different angles. Unfortunately, the Grim PE feet are not compatible with the TDW shoulder support. This is due to them being larger, the combiner port is at a different spot, and there is no 5 mm peg for the support to lock onto.

 

my TDW grim did get stress marks from the combined mode, my PE one is fine. i use the PE grimlock + tdw hands/feet/thighs and then the pe crotchplate + the tdw crotchplate

So, if anyone has both sets and decided to use the TCW chest plate, I’d be glad to take the PE Grimlock upgrades off your hands  

 

I might be willing to do that, I’m getting both sets today and I’m going to see what I like the best.

WHAT THE !!!!!!

 

I went for the Perfect Effect kits plus Nonnef's guns & wing extensions set. With those two combined, the only things I feel are missing are combined mode thigh fillers, and I can't justify buying the whole TDW kit just for those.

 

i bought both in hopes they would be compatible. i wanted to be able to have the grimlock upgrades but use the tdw parts for the most part, but that didn't turn out to be the case. so i ended up using the perfect effect kit with the hands and feet from tdw as those are my preferred ones anyway. i think overall i prefer the look of the perfect effect kit.

 

Seriously how did you get every part on there?!

 

So, anybody know of a way to work PlanetX Triton into/onto this PotP combiner?

im not shure what you are asking but i have a photo of my set up on here . side not learned TDW feet bad news i need a new slug now it busted him even after sanding down the pegs on them look at page 8 lots of photos of set ups but if there is something diffrent just ask i will do when i get a free time i have everything you listed and more

Okay... how do I describe what I'm asking for:

Basically it's exactly this, minus everything from TDW, and minus the PE hands and feet (PC-21) [I realise you're only using the gatling guns of PC-21], but with the normal Hasbro POTP hands and feet instead.

In other words, please retain the Nonnef Gun set, and the PE Torso/Grimlock upgrade including the sword (PC-23), as these are the upgrades I'm leaning towards getting, at this stage.
