OK, I have some PMs and will try to hook those who asked up but I have to go check after work. There was a huge stack of them so as long as they are still there, you guys are good. @joebot. was first, @Ektris next and @Mattress T, I'll try to hook you up too.
Going on vacation to California soon. Was going to go to Disneyland to have fun and shop, hopefully find lots of Black Series. But I was told maybe to save money and just go shopping with family. I don't know if I will find many black series toys at any stores. Mostly because toysrus no longer exists in the states.
I see hardly any BS in stores in my area what are you looking for? Generally see 6 Maz and 5 Chewbacca!
The new waves haven't really hit the big stores like Target or Walmart. Right now Walmart barely has anything and if they do it's Solo (young). Targets generally have the Maz, Mimban trooper wave and that about it. The new stuff like Beckett and have been found at GameStop, which bad thing is they get lower stock than the big box stores but the good thing is that the app will tell you what store has the figure you are looking for and can hold it for you. Don't bother looking for BS at Disneyland, all pegwarmers and marked up. If you are in SoCal on a Wednesday or Saturday you can go to Frank and Sons Collectibles which is about 30 - 40 minutes north of Disneyland. It's all resellers so if it's a hot item you will of course see mark up but good deals can be found. When I was there a couple weeks ago one seller had a couple Zuckuss at reasonable prices. Closer to Disneyland you can visit My D-Pins and Collectibles. It's a cool little shop. Again, if it's a hot item there will be markup but can be reasonable depending on what you are looking for. Not sure what the SW section looks like right now. I am going down to Disneyland this weekend and if time allows I will probably stop by My D-Pins.
If by any chance you don't, it no biggie. I'm sure I can find some way to get another 4lom. My alternate plan is to order from BBTS for the first time.
Be warned, though, my fellow nothern. BBTS can get you hit with import fees even on relatively low-price orders. I don't think I ever avoided any kind of duties from there.
if Disneyworld parks and their shops are any indication, Wasn't much there that wasn't already in main circulation. hell most of what I saw there was from the Solo wave(s)
Ok. Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure I can think of another. Or I can just give up and just focus on the release of dengar.
There’s always droid factory souvenirs. If you go now, you should find the Halloween droid, and build a droid stuff. They may still have some of the episode 8 or Solo droid factory multipacks.
I just got a BS 6” young Han (from the solo movie) for my son and found his body proportions odd. I don’t keep up on all things BS so I figure I’d ask the good folks in this thread. Is he a remold of a previous Finn figure? I ask because this Han figure seems too wide in the hips. That got me thinking that the figure had the body proportions of Finn’s actor. Maybe it’s just a shitty sculpt and I’m off base.
The head sculpt looked out of proportion with the body in initial shots. Not sure if it's a reused body with a new head but it's definitely possible.
There were around a dozen or more this morning so I thought it would be no problem hooking up those who asked. When I got there after work, I found one left so joebot. is the only lucky one. Sorry, I’ll keep my eyes out and let you know if I see any more later.
I was just shocked at how poorly it captured the body proportions of the actor. I would of expected better for Han Solo.
