I had Outback in my cart and BAM he went out of stock. Man if I don't catch them when they go up then they sell out while I'm checking out but even if I did catch them they'd cancel them on me.

Seriously, nothing at TRU was ever as bad as this.

 

I dunno, man. Have you ever tried ordering a MP from TRU? That was Cancellation City, population everyone.

 

Over a period of multiple weeks of trying and trying again? I'm just not buying that.

 

Actually, what's going on now with Walmart sounds exactly like what went on with MP-10 through TRU's eBay account. They were constantly relisting them at the same time they were cancelling orders. Even their own website was having that issue with cancelling preorders within X days, such that some of us were placing second and third orders in case our first ones were cancelled out from under us.

 

THAT seems rather a moving of the goal posts, to include eBay. And we're still only talking about one figure.

 

Toys R Us was operating the eBay account and performing fulfillment for those orders right alongside orders placed through toysrus.com.

 

While it wasn't easy I managed to get all the TRU MP releases, somehow. So far I've only been successful with 2 out of the current 7 items. In all the years I've been collecting and trying to track down those hard to get exclusives, this has by far been the most frustrating and challenging.

 

picked up my Hot Rod today, now to try to get Starscream and Bumblebee at some point

 

I went by Walmart again after work to see what they had. They restocked the minibots and I was too late again to get an Outback. He will be the hardest to find being that he’s only single packed. He is being scooped up as soon as they hit the pegs. I’m trying to find one copy of every reissue for my personal collection. I have almost every one including two of Bumblebee and Tailgate, I just need an Outback to complete the set...

I wanted to get my friend a Devastator for his Birthday but they didn’t have one at this store so I settled for Starscream. I think he will be happy with either one. I’ll be on the lookout for another Devastator though.
These reissues are expensive up here  

 

My Outback and Devy came. Outback was bent and scuffed, but I don't care. After 8 tries, just happy to get one. Devy was mostly minty. Corner dings. Very pleased/relieved about that. So now just Bee to get and I'm all done. Hope everyone else gets what they're after. Will take pics when I have coffee and/or my hip stops hurting.  

 

Man you guys can just walk in to the store and grab these off the peg no problem. Super jealous down here in the states

 

Punch/Counterpunch just shipped from Amazon. Pre ordered him a while back. Didn’t get cancelled. Shipped. Just thought I’d throw that out there Walmart!

 

I've ordered things from Amazon before that weren't in stock at the nearest warehouse to my location. You know what happened? Amazon shipped them from another warehouse on the other side of the country. because the postal system doesn't charge by distance but by weight.

 

Mine is set to arrive on Wednesday. No word on any Walmart orders.
