I'm thinking that isn't for partsforming, but more for reducing the thickness of the blister pack. Firedrive looks like the gun part is removed as well.

Also, yes, these are 100% new molds compared to the Legends line toys.

Did anyone else notice along the side of the package they each have a number? Like, Blowpipe is "WFC-S3" (that's either an "s" or and "8" it's not high enough resolution to tell....)

I don't. They look a little too SAMEY. Really, my issue is that these are made to look more Bay-verse than 80s/G1. They need splashy color, imo.

I like the grit fine... but not the muted colors (like they did with Titans Return). It's like they want to keep the bright colors from the original toys... but the artwork is denying that these are indeed glorious 80s products. Because they're covered in dulling dirt. The colors have been removed.

Stack these with soldier toys, they blend in perfectly. War. Dirt. Bleh.

Although I like the Takara Legends version better, Blowpipe looks good, and I can't wait to give him to TR Triggerhappy. I don't really care too much for those chair guns the TR figures have gotten. And I also kind of wish that Lionizer was orange, like his original toy, but he still looks good too, and I just hope we get a decent amount of Action Masters too.

I can't wait to see the rest of the Decepticons.

As others have mentioned, I hope we get a Rad to go with Lionizer.

Hopefully we get Fistfight for Shockwave.

Been hoping for some accessory weapon packs like Mega Bloks has been doing for Halo.
Lately Hasbro\'s been pretty good with the weapons tho.

    Missed opportunity on some titan/prime
    master Quintesson faces.
They went in feet, chests, cockpits, shields, hands, ....everywhere except for some egg shaped Quint bodies.

I just checked my TR Trigerhappy and it's a shame that there's nowhere that this Blowpipe can fit on him in jet mode except for maybe a wing.

I think Blowpipe\'s mold will be based on Legends Blowpipe.

Nice. I'll be sure to grap Blowpipe for my TR Triggerhappy.

I'm not quite fond of how the packaging puts the names on the sides though, I had to stare at it a bit to locate the toy's name.

I must admit, I was a little disappointed that these were not the legends versions but after thinking about it, I'm glad these are the way they are. Yes, the legends versions have the better paint and articulation but I feel the hasbro versions we are getting will be more fun to play with. If I did have the LG versions, they would probably just be set up on display. With the hasbro versions, I can see me getting multiples for customizing. The arms and legs look like they can easily pop off for a quick coat of spray paint or just a limb swap here and there. Also, it's probably not possible but with blowpipe having his gun piece separate in package, I'm hoping these barrels can be swapped with some of the prime masters cannons. I know my kids will love these little dudes as guns and easily transformed robots. I've got fort max and trypticon that with both be heavily populated with all the various titan/prime/battle masters!

I don’t think so. It just seems to be based off the original blowpipe as much as the takara one is. The sculpt and articulation is pretty distinct.

I’d question their playability since they have less articulation but each to their own. My current viewpoint is I’m not disappointed with these and I’m greatful we have them. I like you’re thoughts on customising though. And yeah it’ll be cool to have these guys covering the titans.
