    Just saw it.

It's a huge piece of sh#t. Tbh, I've never understood the appeal of this franchise. Not even crazy bout the original film.

Or Predator: Concrete Jungle. That would have been fine.

Fucking awful! Worse than Requiem because at least I couldn't see half of the stupid ass shit that happened in that film. This one does not grant that sort of mercy to its audience at all.

Well, I just saw it. I feel as an action movie it is meh nothing too great but the action is nice.

The plot as a predator movie, however, is just stupid. The plot is already stupid on its own but I could see it working in Mars Attacks 2 maybe even Transformers 6 with an autistic kid being the thing Decepticons want or any movie of that nature but for predator no just no.

Speaking of Mars Attacks my least favorite thing about this movie is how it makes the predators seem like generic earth invaders it would be like making Little Shop of Horrors but the plant is just some random space monster who eats people but does not talk, sing, or dance.

Saw it with friends and, it was better than expected, we loved it. I dunno maybe we're all immature, but so was the audience the humor was too good for us. Any changes made to the reason why Predators hunt I didn't mind. And the Predator Killer is, stupid, but god we wanted to see that crap in action... Which won't happen because of the general response to the whole thing. A fun grindhouse load of cheese, just don't expect a horror film. Which to be honest Predator was never a horror franchise to begin with.

I must say though, one bit that immediately put a smile to my face was someone I instantly recognised. Garry Chalk had a small scene in the film. It was just Prime. :)

I actually liked this! Granted most of my Predator experience has been with the first movie and Dead Meat's Kill Count for the franchise but I had a fun time! I didn't feel lost despite my limited Predator knowledge and viewings either. I loved the Predators and I loved the human characters as I found them to be quite funny, they had the entire theater laughing. Now I need to go back and find a way to watch Predator 2 & the previous Predator movie.

Really liked it. Part of the theater actually clapped at the end.
Good mix of comedy, and Thomas Jane was incredible.
    Loved the original music.
Was sort of waiting/hoping for a suicide squad joke- or even an Independence Day one ...
Saw it with my son, so I’m going to automatically like the movie more because of that.

Thomas Jane would be one of the few reasons I would go see this.. NOT Olivia Munn... Yikes...lol

I saw it, and didn't think it was all that bad. Surely not a blockbuster film, but I was entertained by it. Olivia's acting could use some improvements though. She wasn't as believable as the looney group of vets :lol  Now that, I can kinda relate to even though I felt their attitudes embellished. But then again, it's only a movie.

Saw it last night, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Don't really care much about Olivia Munn's character but I like the call backs to the first two Predators, not sure why they include the reference to the two AvP films though :D

Munn seems to get worse with each role.

If the one Predator was there to
help humanity, why the hell is it killing people left and right? That makes no sense.

    Well, consider
the game reserves in Africa - they allow hunters to kill certain animals for a price. In other words, you can kill an animal legally, but going buckwild and killing them all is strictly prohibited.

    Well...

It is a Predator after all. The movies have always portrayed them as attacking and killing anyone with a weapon. And true to consistency, when Olivia Munn was butt naked in the decontamination chamber, all the Predator did was look at her and leave. And the hunter Predator did call him a "traitor" too so...I don't know. There seems to be a backstory to all that since in the beginning you see him being chased and he just warps to Earth. As far as the help is concerned, all he really was doing was bringing that Predator killer armor to Earth. Was he going to stay on Earth to use it? Or give it to humans? We don't know because he ejected the package to avoid from having it reclaimed by those who were chasing him before his ship crashed. He had to have known that if he didn't recover it, we humans would have.

It's interesting that the reviews people are giving the film here are somewhat similar to what a few of my friends IRL have said about it. Almost half of them enjoyed the humor and thought the movie was decent. They weren't as bothered by the complete idiocy of the plot.

I think if a person is a normie they'll like this for the humor. Even I thought it was funny early in the movie. I just got tired of it halfway through.

    That still barely makes sense.

That coupled with the human evolution bit was downright dumb. If all the Assassin needed was the spinal fluid why would he even bother with
kidnapping the boy? Just rip his spin out and be done with it. He said that the kid was the most efficient killing machine. I guess the assassin was just a child predator.

I'm no doctor, but I feel that a medical extraction of spinal fluid would yield greater results than ripping the spine from the body and then trying to wring the fluid out like its a facecloth.

Also man this movie sounds weird.

I suppose so, but it still contradicts what has been established already. Don't get me wrong, I get what they were going for, but it was poorly executed.
