Inferno for $29.99. Is he still $24.99 at Walmart and Target. What is considered MSRP now?

 

IIRC, new MSRP for all Voyage class figures recently changed to $29.99. They even upped it from $24.99 for the older voyager figures (ex. Hun-Gurrr/ Elita-1) they had listed on the website,

 

Inferno is still flooding shelves here and at $24.99, but luckily Hun-gurr and Elita-1 are almost as prominent so it hasn’t been harmful.

 

I've contacted HTS about SS Jazz missing from the site. It just doesn't make sense that Lockdown is listed and not Jazz. I am sure their response will not be helpful. Regardless, I will update the thread when I hear from them.

 

I contacted them about my half-open SDCC set and their response was basically "lol that sucks."

 

Which set was open? You may have said it before but I'm being lazy.

Mine was the same. Obviously opened, then scotch taped shut. And even THAT tape was cut. Apparently, quite a few people received opened sets. I even went through the return process with Hasbro. They returned the same set to me.

 

The exact same set?

I ordered two, and the one had just the tape on the outer sleeve cut, but the other had the inner box opened.

 

Oh no! That's the one set that deserves to be in a mint box!

That's even worse because you went through the exchange process.

What in god's name is happening with those sets?! Are the ones still left in stock all opened? That's horrible.

 

Sure looks that way. The tape had been cut and retaped, on the sleeve. The inner box had all but one piece of the original tape cut and retaped. All of the new tape was regular scotch tape and that was broken, too
The tray of the inner box was creased from where it had been removed and pushed back in.
I contacted Hasbro about it, they had me return it, and about a week later I got the same set back. All the same cut/replaced/broken tape in all the same spots. Same bent part of the inner tray, in the same spot.
They figures hadn't been removed from the tray, so it's not like anything was broken. I wasn't sure if I was going to open the set or not, but Hasbro pretty much made that decision for me.

 

I can understand the sleeve being cut, so people could actually see what they were buying. The inner box, though? That sucks. Especially, considering the price. That was my only real hang-up with it.

 

Any pics? Wonder if someone returned it and they restocked

That's crap, man. I emailed right back and never got a response too. I guess I'll have to call them at some point and bitch. Fucking dumb to purchase something that expensive and they can't even send you a mint and unopened one.

It doesn't look like the inner box was taken apart, but either way the package is no longer unopened and mint, which is just shitty.

 

Studio Series Ironhide is in stock, or really preorder. It says it will be available on the 28th.
