I read the 1st one and just really wasn't interested. I do read OP and LL, I prefer LL to OP, but still like the lore in OP. Should I continue to pick up Unicron too? Am I missing out on anything important to the other series endings?

Unicron directly continues plot elements from OP and serves as the end of the continuity, so, yeah.

I think it's worth picking up since, well, it's the end of the road, Galvatron. Really good art too.

Unicron is essentially the finale to Barber's Transformers comics. The last few issues of OP are basically a sidestory.

If you notice in OP 22, on page 13 they are talking about going to save Elonia, then on page 14 they are suddenly back and Elonia is gone. Unicron 0 happens literally between those two pages. Very odd inserts, but yeah, all the stuff in OP is side to Unicron.

Once it's all over, none of it will be important anymore. If you weren't enjoying it, save your money.
