So those new parts are apparently included with and for the current run of Plissken. How can those who ordered the first batch get these upgraded parts? Same question for Dutch.
And yes @kmopotato what seller did you get your Plissken from??

I hit them up on weibo to see if there's a way to get them separately. I wonder if HZJ would be able to get them?

I got em from toyarena so I'm not sure if the guys there requested a fixed part or if it's a later batch. It was sealed completely when I got it and was inside the manual baggie.

They're definitely a lot tighter than the old ones, and can hold more poses. The right leg is really tight and great. The left one is just as tight but it still pops out somewhat easily

I got a message out to HZJ. Fingers crossed that we can get them somehow.

If I understand correctly, HZJ will include the new hip parts with another item for an additional $2. I'm seeing if I can get them with a box for a figure I ordered loose.

Ok, for those that want hip ball joint replacements, ebay seller HZJ401 can get them for $2 but will only ship them with another item purchased from them. You have to message them in advance in order to setup the transaction.

Is the color of the hip ball replacements the same on Plissken as they are on Dutch?

Dutch and Plissken both use black parts for the hip joints. While googling that I found this, if you want to skip ordering something from HZJ: NEW DX9 X34 - DUTCH repair Joint Accessories In Stock | eBay

so let me get this right. if you have $50 dutch already from the first batch. the sellers expect you to either pay an extra 2 dollars with your next order or 11 out right for the new hips....lol

i am glad i dont waste my time and money with sellers like that.

the hips should be 100% free and in the mail already to anyone who bought the bots before the fix was available.

I just installed my hip socket replacements from HZJ (after trimming the flashing out of them), and wanted to report on the world of difference that they make. The hips are nice and tight now, and the legs stay attached. I don't know if I would still have issues with them popping off in alt to robot transformation because I filed the calf panel tabs thinner, but I have no issues with the legs now. Definitely get the new sockets if you can.
