    There is this magic glue.
Cant think of the name. It costs about $20 and it comes with these extra little patching particles. It can seal a pipe with a hole in it. Its sorta like a welding plus gluing thing.

Im sure someone here knows the name of it.
    It should fix it.

first time reading about this. I transformed my CW Motormaster several times along the years, so should I suppose this is an issue just with the UW release?

No, but I wouldn't be paranoid over it. I've had many CW figures do this, parts crumble apart, by this point. My first MM's stock hip ratchets crumbled apart last year (I had a ton of the nonref ratchets but put off installing a pair into him due to not enough time. Once I got around to it his hips had gone shitty so it had forced my hand, the ratchets were in several pieces. He was one display in combined mode until this point so hardly any "play" wear and tear).

I haven't heard any reports on CW Motormasters having this particular issue. If Crim (above) had it happen to him, it's the first one I've ever heard. CW Motormasters seem to be the better bet for staying intact.

If you live in Japan, you will have to import the Hasbro Motormaster...

Well, this just happened to me too 12/23/18. Shitty dark brown plastic just like Transmetal Megatron.

The thing that really pisses me off is this: Why would Takara make a brown Motormaster in the first place???
Where did brown Motormaster come from??? Who's bright idea was it?

OUCH! That looks awful... I could see something like this from Hasbro, but Takara Tomy? Wow.

Hopefully they reissue Menasor after Superion and Devastator and fix the problem.

If Takara used the same black plastic as Menasor's chest this would be a great figure.

It seems like it’s solid gray plastic under the paint? But something must be off with the materials Takara used. Unacceptable really for what the set costs. Every UW Menasor owner will need a CW backup.

It's a swirly dark brown plastic with tiny gold glitter specks mixed in.

The thing I don't understand is why it only crumbles in that 1 spot. The whole figure is made out of the brown GPS plastic but only the waist crumbles.

It's possible to put it back together, but:

A - The kinds of plastic glue that can do this will leave very visible traces on plastic and...

B - It'll keep shattering. The plastic's structural integrity is already compromised at the and close to the shattered area.

Replace it with a CW one as the other posters said.

Actually it's more likely on TakTom releases from before the BRAND UNIFICATION(TM!) because they were using those more flashy looking plastics for more visual "oomph" on figures. Meanwhile Hasbro just rolled with plain colored plastics and called it a day.

But then, TR Weirdwolf is screwed regardless of which one of the two companies made it.

Oh, I'm already on that. I'm glad this happened because I was planning to repaint this & Generations Soundblaster black. Soundblaster is also a stupid color that makes no sense. I've been wanting to paint him black for a while. I'm glad I didn't waste time repainting this piece of shit. I'll get 2nd CW & paint that one instead.

Another good thing is I swapped the UW silver painted rims with my crappy unpainted G2 Menasor wheels. So that's 1 less set of rims I need to paint. I still need to paint the rims on pretty much every release of the Hot Spot/Onslaught mold.

The plastic it's made of is prone to snapping at the cockpit hinge. It's a common issue with the figure.

I've have much better experiences with the CW line. I've had all kinds of QC issues with the UW line.

I thought there was only 1 report of that happening.
