While I think this figure is a solid figure.....It's largely remained hidden in a dark corner and rarely brought to the front in my revolving door of deskbots. The main reason is that I think the face mask... Or lack there of for the helmet... Just turns me off.

I could be alone here... But I think a new helmet with a face plate or even visor would make him complete and so much more appreciated by me.

Does anyone know if anyone has already or plans to make an add on/replacement helmet?

He's a good figure, just not great. I doubt you'll find a better looking Nova in this scale, but the beauty comes at the cost of articulation.

If you like his aesthetic and can get him under 150 I think you'll be happy with it. If not sell it you can always resell it.

 

You can resell it, but will it be that easy? This thing goes on sale all the time and it still never goes out of stock. It's one of my biggest buyer's remorse figures and my biggest from MMC. Even at 150 dollars I'd say pass on this thing. I got him for 110 and I'd still pass if I could go back and do it again. But I'd pay 185 dollars all over again for MMC's Overlord, so you might want to see if he scratches the itch you thought Serpahicus might.

 

I personally love Seraphicus! Only things I actually dislike about him is that he cantc stand in the rack while putting the armor on him, and he takes up so much space if you have the wings out haha

 

Greetings. I just bought a used copy for a very fair price, but I am not sure of the colors. Is this yellowing? Or is only this part at the back of the corebot and the feet really that white compared to the rest of the bot and the trailer which looks like cream/butter?

 

Could be yellowing, but as you can see from page 1, the plastic white doesn't match the painted white.
It looks good imo.

 

I too just got one for a very good price. It was missing the gun and one of the small swords but for the price that's really not abig deal.

1. Can I get the gun/swords anywhere?
2. Do the blue swords store anywhere in vehicle mode?

 

I believe Dr. Wu has an upgrade kit for TR Sixshot that has similar swords but in all white.

 

The gun came with the cradle/trailer, not the base figure.

Well Siege Optimus is a little shorter than Classics Optimus and Seraph is a little bigger than that so he's probably not going to look right if you're after same height toys.

 

he is a tall voyager without the armour. think about that for your scaling. for me, he is great, but I want him to be biggish anyway. very subjective

It's hard to let go a figure that displays as nicely as this one but mine is now for sale, see sig.

Still the nicest Nova Prime around. I especially liked the posability on the wings.
