I still think Hasbro cares how it is represented and will act on behalf of the consumer if Walmart makes them look bad. Walmart isn’t god.

Ultimately, I will be returning my damaged product if I can find good ones in store. I am not about to lay down and accept crap product regardless of who makes or loses money.

 

I did call them out, was transferred 3 times and finally told too bad and hung up on. Walmart doesn't care one bit...and honestly it's a waste of time talking to them (which I knew going in but wanted to vent).

I feel like a big problem is they overstocked the shelves in the Canadian stores and didnt bring in enough to the US. I'm hoping that can be corrected and some of the stock shifted down south.

 

For my local area, Brickseek - although still showing 0 in stock anywhere - did at least update to actually listing nearby stores for Hot Rod, Devy, and Starscream. So maybe that portends of in-store stock coming soon? But, the minibots still show "No results found in your area" and don't even list the local stores.

 

Wow. Just wow. *shakes head in annoyance* Stellar customer service.

Exactly, there are people here who don't care about packaging and will happily give you retail and shipping + something for your trouble because they just want the toy.

I'm currently feeling guilty sitting on 4 Starscream, hoping he turns out to be super easy for everyone to get because I kinda want my fleet of clones  

 

I already purchased my home and want these dead mint.. just sayin  

 

Today is my moving day to my new house I just bought. Lol.

I also want mint copies and an "open and play with" copy.

 

I have two Bumblebees. One is OK but the other is thrashed. If I find good ones in store, I will send a PM. Of course, you could just go to the store at that point. lol

Repeated in-stock-order-cancel-reorder-cancel-reorder, and/or in-stock-smashpack-ship, plus countless excuses from Walmart is a pretty twisted game. In a sick way it's almost kind of funny...   Almost?  

It wouldn't be so messed up if Walmart just flat out said these are out of stock and your S.O.L. so people can just move on.

I opened my minty copies lol but still wanted minty boxes.

Hoping to find another set od minibots, one to keep sealed and one to open.

 

Received two boxes of the Hod Rod and three boxes of the Starscream from Walmart. They look nice!

 

In the scenario where the online order is returned (not to store) Walmart is losing money on the shipping.
At this point, I'm all for Walmart subsidizing FedEx/UPS and/or USPS!

 

Aaand 6/6 orders now canceled with my final (one of three, all different dates in hopes redundancy might save me) Outback canceled. It's been fun and educational. Best of luck to everyone else still in the hunt (especially those without a WM local to them) but I'm done.  

 

So, I was randomly checking for in stock items and the G1 re-issues are no longer available. Is it possible Walmart pulled these or...??
