    Hello all,
I am intent on making a combiner out of repaints of 4 CW/PoP Wreck-gars and a repainted torso-bot. The only torsos that intrigue me are Motormaster/Prime or Grimlock. There have been a few oddball non motorcycle junkions, but a plane or firetruck seem too much of a stretch. To me... the bulky mold of Motormaster fits well in all forms.

I’m slightly tempted to think Grimlock’s brief and huge presence on the planet of Junk tempted them to create their own Junk-King T-rex.

So, change my mind… Do any of you see a reason why I should use a torso other than Motormaster or Grimlock?

The only other mold options seem to be:
    Hotspot/Onslaught/Inferno
    StarScream/Elita 1
    Silverbolt/Chromedome
    Hun-Gurr
    Skylynx

A Mad Max-style repaint of Motormaster should be the proper choice imho :)

If you used the hot spot mold you could use the legends wreck gar as a chest plate.

Motormaster is the option that makes the most sense (and would probably look the best). Beyond that, for a limb you could repaint Hound to make Detritus.

Skylynx already looks almost like something the Junkion's "kitbashed" so a repaint might work.

Using the Hotspot mold to make a Rum-Maj might work, taking a cue from Pyra Magna and Megaempress.

I'm planning hotspot as Junkicon Brawler or Detrius or Roadmaster.

I had this thought as well. Motormaster as Animated Wreckgar would be awesome

Motormaster is your best bet. Junkions don't have much in the way of flight capable bots.

One of the trucks would work very well too, I might suggest looking at Ork Trukks from Warhammer 40,000 for inspiration, they have a similar aesthetic to Junkions. In fact, look up Orktimus Prime for someone who made a very Orky Transformer Truck :D

I think this belongs more in the creative discussions threads, but whatever! I think the motormaster would work well as a junked garbage truck, and sky lynx could be an intelligent junkpet inspired by grimlock. Perhaps scattershot as a junked hovertank prototype

Thanks for the confirmations! Using a Hound as Detritus is a cool idea too. I do have a custom Junkion Kup from the Generations mold. Its too bad he can't work as a combiner limb.

    I'm considering naming the combiner Wreck-King. He's gonna need a bad-ass mustachio.

Also, thanks for the Ork trucks idea. They definitely have a similar feel to the Junkions.

Now we will see about making Motormaster look like Animated Wreck-gar. My thought is that Wreck-gar wouldn't actually be apart of the team. So I'm not sure how much of a homage I want. Its a fun idea though. It depends how well Motormaster's alt parts conicide with his robot mode.

If you can punch pins, I would suggest swapping parts between Swindle and Hound, in order to make Detritus and Bulkhead. Or a CW style WWII Bumblebee I guess..

Someone did parts swapping and made a pretty good Constructicon out of Hot Spot and Onslaught, with a wrecking ball attachment, so something like that could work as well.

Motormaster into an Animated Wreck-Gar style Junkion would be great (I'm still sad BotCon didn't use the Wreck-Gar mold to make Animated Motormaster instad of using the Optimus Prime mold).

I would love to see pics of this custom, it sounds like a great idea - do you have any links?

I'm pretty sure he's talking about Fakebuster's Gravedigger.

Heavy/Scratch: - CW Gravedigger: The Loneliest Constructicon (Shapeways)

I was gonna suggest Inferno with a crane and a wrecking ball completely forgetting about Fakebuster's.

Thanks for putting up those links - seeing it again, I do remember that custom and it is indeed a really good idea, and would work very well in Junkion colours.

Yeah! Personally, I think it would be the most low impact option for a Junkion. If you can find a CW Prime and have the skills to do it I think that mold would make for a great Animated styled Wreck-Gar (a retool they totally should have done).
