Ordered mine today at Kapow toys, cannot wait to display him next to FoC Megatron.

 

the problem is: this is not FoC megatron. It's FoC Megatron's design with WFC Megatron's colors. It's a a compromise, and it doesn't make sense to me to buy this and pretend it's a third Megatron which didn't exist...

is there a reissue coming?

 

I just got this guy, and right out of the box one of the shoulder pieces (with the smokestacks) was extremely stiff and squeaked really loudly. I thought this was just annoying, until it snapped off in the middle of transformation. Because of the nature of the joint and the break, it's almost certainly unfixable. A lot of the joints on the figure seemed unreasonably stiff, so it might pay off to find a retailer who's willing to inspect the figure for stiff joints and other mechanical defects before shipping.

 

Does any have an email for Planet X? The shoulder pad on mine just snapped off, so I’d like to email them

Or does anyone else have a broken figure that would be willing to part him out? I’d be happy to buy left arm from you.

 

Exact same thing happened to me last year, I would contact your seller to see if they can get replacement parts. Planet X isn't great for customer service I did get parts but it took about 3 months to receive them. If you do get replacement parts put a little bit of silicone oil in the shoulder/shoulder pad joint and manipulate that joint from underneath the shoulder pad for transformation to prevent stress on that part. Hope you get some replacement parts man.

I emailed bbta and chosen Prime about it, but the problem is that I can’t remember who I bought the figure from. It may have been an eBay purchase.

I did send PX a Facebook message, but apparently they didn’t receive said message.

I’m of half a mind to buy a second copy of this guy despite needing to save some money, if I can’t get the part. For whatever reason, he clicks with me. I often forget I have him, only to find and become half obsessed with it a couple months later. I’ll definitely miss him if it’s gone

 

Let me know if you can't get parts, I have a left arm that has a somewhat repaired shoulder from when mine broke. The pad just has to parts form.

I am not a fan of the design but I really would like to get get this figure. Especially since I have the FOC Megatron on the way.
