Wait, am I understanding this correctly? It’s a repackage of a Last Knight mask, which itself is just a half-arsed repaint of an RiD mask?

Come on Hasbro.

 

Not that this stuff is my bag, baby, but why do they choose to call these 'role play' masks?...kinda dated term, considering how full blown mainstream 'cosplay' has become, and I'm sure will continue to be.

'Cosplay Mask'...I'm sure that'll bring in more business. Just wait though while I roll for initiative.

How many times are they gonna repaint that freaking RiD mask???

 

Selling the same thing six times and trying to pass it off as six different masks? Shit like this should be illegal. Im over exaggerating obviously, but damn, this is just...bad. Really bad.

I mean, even for the movie that’s supposed to redeem Transformers and have people finally see the franchise in a better light, they can’t even make a new f***ing mask for Bumblebee or Optimus? Honestly they’re already showing the laziness they should be hiding.

 

Well, here's hoping we get more Bumblebee Exclusive Repaints that Feature Bumblebee and Friends then!

(To be honest, i would love to see the G2 Lazer Rods, Prime Cliffjumper & Cybertron Downshift get some actual redeco use in this movie line.)

 

Wow, it's always great to see them reuse toys from other continuities.

In all seriousness though, WTF? Even the Cyberverse toyline is reusing a few toys from RID 2015. SMH.

 

And they're not even the good, better articulated molds.

I like said previously, there's some old, but still better molds then these masks... I know they are cheap to make, but geez.

 

Optimus at least works since his face looks about the same no matter what the continuity is.   Bumblebee however has had lots of different face designs so the laziness is pretty blatant with him. :/
