Look we can all agree the movie was meh. The idea of live action WW1 and WW2 Transformers is badass and I will buy all of them

I'm surprised to see so many people are upset about the Studio Series figure having an inaccurate vehicle mode when the on-screen vehicle doesn't even match the robot mode kibble. I'd rather take a shellformer over a figure with zero correlation between both modes, but at least we'll both get what we want.

    That Bulldog looks great, though.

Looks great. I wonder if they will do Trench from TLK at all.

He did turn into a 'heroic' plane, although the Top Gun plane would have been a Tomcat (f-14) rather than an Eagle (f-15). More Iron Eagle thing ^^
However, since the f-15 was in use by a large number of militaries, and all jets were (initially) Cons it's a bit of a grey area.
WWI (and WWII) planes were very distinct between countries...

but mostly, I just want to see a Sopwith, I love those biplanes

There are plenty of biplanes with rounded wings. Biplane means "two wings", not "curved wings". And the guy in the movie was just Jetfire's base model with Spitfire wings on his shoulders - the wings look too small because the designer/modeller didn't put too much effort in his design.

Which model? Sopwith built more than a dozen different biplane models. Saying you want to see a Sopwith is kinda like saying you want to see a Ford.

35 seems a bit too good to be true, especially for a voyager.
    I'm hoping for something around 60 euro's.

Sorry, I'd said a Sopwith Camel prior and was typing on my phone and missed that I'd forgotten to include it there
Granted, any of the Sopwiths would be nice, but the Camel is a favorite of mine ^^
If you want to get super specific, I'd say a 2F.1 (most of my family have served the Navy over the years so I've a soft spot for ship variants, heck that's part of the reason I love the Corsair so much) or even better a Comic, as the Night Fighter aspect and attributes of the Comic are really fascinating

    I really liked TLK though.
I was fun and didn't have a lot of fiction politics in it like most movies.
It's about the only time I ever enjoyed Hopkins in a movie too.
It had a great tempo and Python-esque comedy.
It kind of felt like a Terry Gilliam movie.
But I too love the idea of movie-style bots with period altmodes.

I'm not usually into 3P, but this one's definitely on my to-buy list.
It helps that he's the spitting image of Melchett from Blackadder 4. The only way Hasbro could top this is if a (theoretical) Studio Series version came with a Minicon partner called Darling.

Dag, that's some attention to detail and some sweet altmodes!

I don't really have room for movieverse in my life but these are pretty solid designs. I might have to make myself an animated version of that tank dude. Given that TFA highbrow and mindwipe ALSO have hats and moustaches, it follows that this guy must be hardhead.

I meant squarish as in the leading edge was generally parallel to the trailing edge, which would give the wing an overall much more straight and "squarish" look than the WWII airplanes which were generally a lot more shapely and aerodynamic.

And I realize it's just Jetfire's model with new wings and kibble, but I was thinking in toy terms (considering the thread) and those tiny wings would be difficult to pull off on a physical figure.
