So this may be a long shot, but the sliding hinge that holds the backpack/wings on my ko thundercracker broke. If any one has a suggested fix or a junker thundercracker they are willing to part with, please let me know.

Awesome. I have Maketoys seekers and was tempted by the KBB coneheads. I have resisted so far. Please don't post anymore pictures

Nope. They are loose and no box and missing the crown and cape on the seekers. Bought them locally here in Manila.

 

I was hunting for yes model coneheads but they don't come cheap these days and getting difficult to find. IMO Maketoys is better than the official MP seekers.

Does anyone know which tamiya spray paint color best matches YM TC/SW’s sliver color/finish?

I tried Tamiya TS-12 bare metal sliver, but is more of a grayish sliver. The YM’s is more of a white sliver.

Is Igear Storm not close enough?

 

Somehow, no. I had and sold him. Felt cheap, and I prefer the MP11 mold to the modified MP3 mold, even if it’s basically the same thing.

 

Yeah, the "feeling cheap" part is real, lol. But the color was great- needed more paint apps though. On the molds part I do prefer the arms especially on the MP-11 mold. Never liked those thick exterior jet panels on the forearms of the MP03 and Igear versions.

Received my conehead KBB trio the other day. And I have to say I am pleased. Their paint apps were nearly flawless (dirge was missing his reds on the shoulder/vents whatever those are they have near their heads), joints and ratchets are probably the strongest I have in my entire collection alongside quakeblast and the only loose parts are their wings, which tab though so its not a problem. I was impressed with their stability and....guys their faces. Well....I know in pics they look horrible but really they are not bad. Once you swipe Thrusts that is. Yeah the heads are a bit small but in all honesty that suits me fine. They will go nice with mp3 that has a smaller head than the mp11s.

The only real downside was that the lid protecting Dirges landing gear was stuck and like an idiot I forced it and predictably I snapped it.But who cares?

 

What seller did you buy from? I'm thinking of getting KBB Thrust.
