My Starscream arrived, and box is in great shape!

 

Even if that number "of us" was true, I'm confident that these problems HAVE stopped a number of less dedicated fans who would have otherwise bought these toys.

To say nothing of the number that would grab them up at brick-and-mortar, but not online, if only they ever show up there.

 

Mine as well. Shipping box I could tell was a tad small but they wedged it in there in just a way with air pillows so just a minor ding.

That flap is sexy

 

And they were immediately replaced in line by someone else.

Remember, my point was that nothing has happened that would motivate Walmart to make a single change to anything. And I stand by that.

 

So far two SS had bent flaps since the pushed them into a small box. This was shipped to store. Second order of SS were sent in better condition with a bent corner on one end of a box. This was shipped FedEx. Next one arrives tomorrow by UPS. Need one more box that’s in good shape. Sent the two bent boxes back to Walmart. I’ll be sending two more back tomorrow. Funny how I told them to cancel one of my orders but the decided to ship any way.

 

Frankly, I stand by my assertion that Walmart is still losing sales. That said, I don't think that will make them change anything, either.

 

How would they even go about measuring a loss of sales? And what would trigger them to start measuring it in the first place? Sales are still happening so they have no reason to analyze why 3 people on tfw2005 have decided to not order anymore (or claim to but really they keep trying anyway).

And think about their total product offerings. Thousands and thousands of items. A hiccup on a half dozen of them wouldn't even be a blip on the radar.

 

Oh, I agree. Until they finally get their act together enough to have product staying on the site (or on the shelf) for any length of time, they'll have no incentive at all to consider what sales they're not capturing. Even if the issues now lead to leftover stock later (due to people giving up or whatever), it's way too early to know.

 

Well, sure, I know for a fact they lost at least one sale... mine. Pretty sure someone came along to make up for it.

 

On July 20th, I did a single order for 2 Outbacks and 2 Tailgates. Walmart has shipped the order, but it shows 3 figures shipped, while one Tailgate in still preparing for shipment.

Another WTF for Walmart.

 

I've been on the in-stock alert for all of these since the beginning and have never received a single e-mail.

 

Everybody that received a smashed up box should return it on WelfareMart's dime. Having to eat that loss hurts them more than just about anything else you could do.

I miss the days when I could walk into a store and find something to buy. At this point, most chains are just squatting on land to keep other people from opening stores. It's disgusting.

 

Here is a good laugh. I looked at my son’s G1 Devastator KO I bought years ago and the box direct from China is in better shape than the Hasbro one I got from Walmart.

Just got Starscream delivered. They jammed it into a small box, intentially folded the flap, and it is damaged. I don’t undestand this. This nonsense with walmart has been going on for too many weeks. Don’t know if I want to go through replacement process and have no desire to go hunting in B&M stores- may just cut my losses and not use them again...

Am pretty annoyed

 

Just received my Starscream. They actually packed it in a nice sizable 14" x 10" x 7.5" box (according to the flap) which arrived in perfect condition with Walmart packing tape. There were plenty of intact airbags, which kept SS from bouncing up and down in the box, but not from sliding back and forth. As such, there's a very minor crease in the flap, but nothing as terrible as a full bend. It isn't even visible on the back of the flap. I'll just consider myself lucky compared to how others have fared here.

 

Tailgate was supposed to arrive Friday but now is "back ordered" and will be canceled if they can't find one by Saturday.

 

I could not agree more.

 

Same my Tailgate was suppose to arrive yesterday then they emailed me and said it was backordered and would be canceled if one wasn't found by today... it has yet to be canceled.

 

I love going to the store and seeing these all on the shelves!!


Hope they do even more!!
