No one said they weren't impressed that bee doesn't have swastikas in his back round the point of the conversation was why people are afraid to type the word Nazi as used in a sentence. "hey look they're trying to cover the Nazi symbols" instead of "Hey they're covering that you know what symbol." I wasn't trying to say bee should have them I was trying to say is there is no need to censor the word Nazi in that said sentence. I know the symbol is offensive, I know what sterotypes are, and I know they wouldn't be most likely be able to sell the figure in germany if it had the symbols anywhere on the figure none of that was the point of the conversation.

Holy awesomeness, that WW2 Bumblebee is bought the second I see it on a shelf. I never thought I'd see that as a toy, but I love it. How many studio series Bumblebees is Hasbro going to convince me to buy?

I do kind of wish they kept his screen-accurate Mercedes mode, but this is still great. His robot mode never matched the Mercedes anyway, so it's semi-screen-accurate.

Just want to quickly clarify. I was speaking of the military vehicle, rather than symbols.

 

Nice reveals. Sideswipe looks good and WW2 Bumblebee looks to have potential.

As for Barricade, I haven’t taken a good look at my DotM Deluxe in awhile but this really looks like it could be an extensive remold of it. I hope not since that had a ton of issues with the head and hip poseability.

And I’m glad it’s the 2007 version, sure there’s been a couple different deluxes of it but they both suck. Plus the new TLK deluxe was a fine representation of a completely pointless redesign.

 

Well, on the bright side, the next Barricade defintiely will be the TLK one.

I would have preferred ROTF Sideswipe, mainly because I am not a fan of the Convertible and that Sideswipe was introduced in ROTF.

 

If it gives him less backpack kibble, I'll take the convertible!

These look very good, but shouldn't the military car be the Alt mode of Hot Rod?

 

BB and SS look pretty good but I can tell that they have pretty big backpacks. I'd sure like to see a turnaround or at least a photo from the back. I haven't bought any HasTak non-MP figures in a LONG time (4 or 5 years) because they've just not been good enough quality. If these are good, I will break that trend. I'm optimistic about these.

The WWII Bumblebee toy doesn't look half bad. I may pick it up just to repurpose it as a different character.

The figures all look pretty good, but I don\'t think barricade or SS are enough to replace the DOTM and ROTF versions, respectively.

But, I also don\'t care much about scale, so, whatever.

 

If they're keeping with the robot mode scales, Sideswipe should be about the size of Jazz I believe.
