That would be horrible. Sixgun is quite different from Cog (no wheels...) Deserves a new figure.

 

It's a suggestion. And the logical choice. Sixgun might not have an "Alt mode" like Cog per say, but we already know Cog partsforms into weapons, which was the signature trait of Sixgun. Minor retooling, repainting at the least is all that's necessary.

I have it. I should’ve specified that I’d like more to go with. And specifically I want the Hasui Sunstreaker I never got from MP. If he turns up here we should be in the ballpark. If I’m Judging by Sideswipe.

 

Meanwhile the Micro-masters are kinda doing that, at least in that they combine to make weapons.



So far Battle patrol seems to be the best one, imo. Looks like a Quake esque weapon.

 

Blaze master should get a toy. He'll come with a weed accessory.

I granted that as a possibility (albeit a cruel one) in an earlier post, there is detailing on the back of his head after all. But if you look at photos from various angles it's clear that bump protrudes out further than the rest of the detailing. If it's not a TR peg, it's a hell of a coincidence.

Also Re: Sixgun, I imagine he will share cog's arms and legs, but have a new chest and weapon- the chest resembling Slammer on its own and the gun forming Slammer's turret.

 

too me these two are the definitive g1 styled chug megs. they are both g1 in looks but have a nice bulk too them that makes them look truly intimidating if they can top that they can take my money

I think you're being a little optimistic given that slammer doesn't have an alt mode and even if they gave him one, he'd probably be more appropriate at legends class. My point is that if Sixgun is engineered similar to Cog, his chest has to look like something. Why not Slammer? Chest is white, Slammer is white. Seems like a match made in heaven.

But even if he did get his own toy, no that wouldn't be any more confusing than any other character that has more than one toy.

 

Agreed but TR would have been the ideal line for that since they could have marketed separate Trooper heads effectively and the trooper bodies would have been perfect for spare heads as well.

Hindsight being what it is, I would have prefered if they'd made (better deco) Sweeps with the Takara Sweeps head and made Scourge a separate-purchase Titan Master.

 

Neither did each of Battletrap's components. Cog never had a Weaponizer mode either. How is basing arguments on precedent "optimistic"?

Because Slammer is not a part of Sixgun.

Okay man, I said some stuff I thought seemed like a good idea. Your assertion appears to be "I don't agree." Obviously we're just getting into "why I think something is more likely than something else" based on nothing more than our own arm chair toy marketing degrees. There's really no reason to discuss this further.

 

It might be possible he shares some but not all of Cog's chest because, if you look through the pictures we have seen so far, you can see some very Sixgun's backpack cannon-like gun barrels under Cog's shoulder pylons, and although it's possible Hasbro might surprise us if we see a Slammer portion of Sixgun that is based on WFC Cog engineering I'd wager it's more likely his lower half would form him because the Gasket portion of Cog is pretty much a tracked tank base without a turret slap one on et voilà, Slammer.
