I was very excited about this line when it first came out. I recall initially the line was announced as only a small number of figures so methought to get my first ever complete collection, but when it just kept going on and on my limited finances at the time forced me to bail out. What I have still makes a nice little display of its own though...

Seeing Zoom and yellow Tracks there makes me think that there has to be a B-Team of Autobots led by MP-02 consisting of Zoom, yellow Tracks, blue Prowl and three leftover Smokescreens.

Nice nostalgic reviews but dude has no idea what the difference between paint and glossy plastic is. Just a pet peeve I guess when youtubers do series reviews like this and dont know enough about the toys to actually be doing educated reviews on them.

Yeah, that's a shame. I doubt I'd even watch it if that's the case. I tend to lean more towards people knowing their stuff than someone just "reviewing" something for the heck of it.

    Great display!

It's certainly a buyer's market for these two lines now, save for a few select pieces. You can basically shop for a deal for most things you want these days.

Yeah wasnt trying to be a dick to you bro. I liked the vids too for the pure nostalgia of someone else digging something Im still a huge fan of. But if you are going to do a series/set of vids that cover a whole line like that it might be a good idea to get your info straight first.

Otherwise it comes off very amateurish to people that know the subject matter, and are also presenting inaccurate information to people who might be new fans trying to gather information on something they like but missed out on.

As a fan who is beginning to collect Alternators/Binaltech as an adult (a "too young" one when the line first came out)...yeah, I want correct information. What exactly is the difference between paint and glossy plastic? How can you tell between the two?

It's literally just that: painted plastic will have a top coat of paint whereas glossy plastic is plastic that is just shiny without paint.

For the purposes of these lines, Alternators are mostly plastic without paint and Binaltech ALL have paint. Alternators have some some exceptions like Grimlock and Silverstreak, but the majority of the line is plastic only.
