The actual 3D models and animation make them look better, but we gotta complain about something I guess

Anyone else find it interesting that Thundercracker's jet mode looks a lot like the made up Jet mode for that Shatter toy from SDCC?

I like how they've made Starscream different from the other Seekers, just a shame they toys are all just straight repaints of him. Even Slipstream.

Which is why I personally kind of find it funny that

is the new complaint after the complaints of pupils being added in previous years.

This actually goes back to a before TF2007 addition that then Prime used. And something that's never been a complaint in any other series that had that same aspect. Not even a peep about it in Prime Wars, or Animated, or really any series ever before. Lots of complaints of it added to TF2007, Prime, and NuRID though. Now with this series, it's the complaint that it addressed the previous complaint. Which makes it funny.

Though do gotta admit Animated had an interesting approach with how it felt like optics behind the coverings with the way the lighting worked. But usage of that varied.

While not a personal complaint, seeing grimlock and wheeljack without their masks is..... huh... is there a word for "definitely off-putting, yet strangely welcomed into the mind?" because I never knew i wanted wheeljack with a mus-tache!

Welstrant? yeah, this feel rights. Seeing Grimlock and Wheeljack without masks is welstrant.

You better find way get rid of all kids in world transformers cartoons main number one audience is little kids not full grown adults, if it was adults non transformers who now fans of transformers thanks to live action movies would have been watching cartoon shows and reading comics but new transformers fans do not watch cartoons especially ones who have kids.

I love the designs. I just wish the animation looked like this instead of looking like test animation from the early 1990s Incredible Crash Test Dummies. Primus knows the toys would benefit from looking like this.

Thundercrackers alt mode looks great, but I'm confused what the actual cockpit and the fake cockpit is.
    It's messing with me.

My nephew saw the preview. Had a look on his face like grandpa just let out a proper bean fart and loudly declared that this was 'for babies'. He didn't even do that with Rescue Bots.

Luckily, Tobots are available for a good price on Amazon Prime, so he can still get quality robots for a little boy.

That thought process makes no sense. I’m just gonna say that and not continue.

No it does! Just like if you don’t buy the toys they’ll get better! And if you don’t go see a movie it’ll get better! Just like the Star Wars Solo movie no one saw it and now we’re going to get so many new Star Wars movies anf solo sequels and stuff! Oh wait...no thats not whats happening with Star Wars...

And look at transformers! They canned 3 movies after last knight!

And RID was a big mixed bag of you either liked it or hated it and we got the prime wars trilogy! And now we got cybetverse! A show 11 minutes long and extremely polaraizing to grown ups who watch cartoons!

    PROGRESS!!

Well, I can understand plenty of people not liking pupils. But well, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Animated and Prime all had them and I think it worked really well in all of them. Armada and Energon had them too, for extreme close ups, which I thought looked really interesting. Would have liked more of that. And yes, it should be possible to make the eyes expressive enough, if the animators really work hard on it. But I just think it's so limiting. But it is my personal preference as an animator. Eyes are the most important part of a character. The windows to the soul. I've experimented with adding pupils to G1 designs and I just feel like they become so much more alive after that.

If the show was 2D then I'd give this a watch but the preview the other day that was 3D really threw me off. If people have such trouble making 2D show in this day and age the it would be wise to make a 3D show that is visually appealing because the characters in 2D look better.
