this is just sad.
the last wave of the line starts popping up, and the Netherlands is just now getting wave 1.

today I finally saw potp figures in-store, intertoys had 1 starscream and 1 grimlock.

 

Did they actually end the line?

 

my 2 targets have cyberverse and remains of wave 1. my walmart had a full set of wave 2. I've only found 3 of the wave 2 pretenders. Disappointing. What is most disappointing is that Hasbro Toy Shop doesnt even have stock of products they make. I bet they would make so much money if they just said screw the stores and started supplying toys from their website. I'd buy everything from there if they sold them for retail.

So did they do the price increase again making them the shelfwarmers for the next year or so? It's a good thing we got the webstores but i want wave 3. Getting the upgrades before the toy. That's just weird.

These guys are pretty great! First figures since the Armada/Energon days for me. I'm really impressed- the articulation is great, the updated G1 feel is very cool. I'm hooked all over again- working on tracking down the rest of POTP and then starting to fill in with all the cool stuff I've missed in the last 13 years or so!

 

Good luck with Combiner Wars especially. Deluxes alone are running upwards of $30. You're probably better off trying to hunt down the G2 or Unite Warriors box-sets.

 

Finally found Hungrrrr at Target, along with the sw bs Gammorean Guard, and now I'm hungrrrrry for another guard and the rest of the monstahs. Surprisingly the voyagers are only $22.50 at Target. Though it did cost me another $7 for a mater and a ben10 fig on clearance since I got off work late and had to pick up king Kong and Godzilla from daycare. Of course they wanted nothing to do with my toys while in the store, when we got home it was the total opposite ha. Practically fighting over who opens my stuff.

 

I suspect they don't do that because they don't want to alienate retailers.

Indeed. The upcoming re-releases of the UW box sets will hopefully help bring prices down. And if all else fails, I guess there's always KOs.

 

One again I'm up in the air on this. I'm not a fan of the mold either but I think the throne would be cool to have.

At that price, I'm doubtful to the quality of the plastic. If it was legit I'd totally buy the Defensor set.
