Question for Aussies, how much did you pay for your Dinobot and where?
I'm afraid I've left it too late as he seems sold out most places

I’m really not an authority on the matter; I just check show Z fairly often to see what 3P stuff pops up  
However, I wouldn’t expect the price to be over $35 USD seeing as it’s just a few very simple weapons with no moving parts and yes, I believe the odds lean heavily in favour of this being a fully painted set.

 

I preordered. I prefer my Dinobot to be armed to the teeth . Now , I need to dig up my TM Rattrap as he’ll be Dinobots Uber ride .

 

Mine arrived today. Kind of scared of opening it...

 

DON'T! send it to me first so I can test it out and make sure it is not one of TT's difective copies. I have transformed mine several times so I am qualified to be a dinobot tester.

$335 AUD shipped for me, by no means the best deal as I didn't jump on and pre-order him right away but I feel damn good about having one now. I bought it of a guy called Irwin in Perth who imports stuff, I found him on gumtree. His price for my Megs shipped is $370 AUD, that I pre-ordered right away though.

 

Every word of that sentence became more Australian than its predecessor.

 

Haha I should have referred to our currency as "dollary-doos" like they did in The Simpsons to really bring it home, gumtree is kind of like our craigs list. I didn't literally meet Steve Irwin in a bush and buy a lizard off him unfortunately.

 

Finally got mine from NY yesterday. Never using SAL shipping again. Seems to get slower every time.

I used 80 weight shock oil on the potential problem shoulder ratchets and his robot knees which were all crazy tight. MUCH better now. His knees were so tight I couldn’t bend them without moving his shin transformation joints.

But I’m sad to report mine will not stand in either mode. Not even close. If I stand him straight in bot mode he will actually fall backwards. And raptor mode is even worse. I had to bend his bot knees far enough so that his ankles are bent all the way forward in order for him to stand. It will most likely improve after I floor polish the ankle joints but I hate doing that on expensive figures. I’ve had terrible luck with Takara and third party ankles. Tons of my figures won’t stand without floor polish on the ankles. Or in the case of Fans Toys Willis crazy glue on the ankles. I find it incredibly annoying because the main purpose for these figures is to to pose on a shelf and if they can’t do that it’s a fail in my book.

Dinobot is an amazing figure but would have been even more amazing with better joint tolerances on my copy. Cheers!

 

They can’t the joints right on some figures for some reason- some are too tight and aome are too loose

 

Hey folks, I did a quick livestream. Not a review since I'm late to the party, but some quick tips/tricks. One in particular that I didn't see people talk about or in the instructions is the waist extension which gives him way more ab crunch and which gives him a little more height/better proportions in my opinion. I figured someone else had noticed this but I did a quick search in this thread that didn't seem to indicate anything and all the fellow collectors I talked to about it didn't know about it either.

 

Mines coming tomorrow ! I can’t wait to see this guy in hand. Really hoping his shoulders aren’t all jacked up . Fingers are staying crossed .

Well, since you are a qualified Dinobot tester, you must be legit. I can't imagine anything going to my disadvantage now.
