    It isn't free, at least in my experience, but it is very reasonable for international shipping. Also I think you get a bit of a discount off the listed price because they remove the VAT or taxes or whatever it is in Japan.

    So about Amazon JP shipping to US. It's $12 to ship UW Devy. But it's $50 to ship MB-16 Jetfire. WTF?!

    Thank you all for the Amazon.jp heads up. Just preordered MP Optimus Primal, MP 20+, and UW Superion all together for $249 combined.

    Amazon.jp is dangerous for me with import prices and no import shipping rates.

    That happened to me. MP Dinobot was $24 shipping, but MP Megaton and Encore Unicron are going to be $12 each. I contacted them, and they refunded me *a little* after the actual shipment. Basically, they kept telling me it was based on size & weight. And when I kept mentioning that Megatron and Unicron will be bigger and heavier, they ignored me. Oh well, still got Dinobot for about $190 US, including shipping.

    I’m not saying a word because, based on past history of buying from amazon japan, I’m almost positive the 1200 yen shipping we’re getting is a mistake. I’m gonna enjoy it while it lasts. The shipping isn’t ever as expensive as most places, but 1200 is a streal considering how fast they ship.

    OK. I've seen this Japan Amazon thing come up and have checked a few times...but never inquired....it's all in Japanese. Amature question maybe, but How do you sign up and navigate?

    Amazon Japan is pretty awesome. I only ordered 1 thing but as others mentioned, it arrived very quickly. The only thing better is buying if you're in Japan! Had a buddy visiting and he helped me order a figure while there.
