It's funny ... I've never seen either Game of Thrones or Suicide Squad, and perhaps that's part of the reason TLK felt fresh enough to me. It probably helped, too, that I found Anthony Hopkins and Cogman enjoyable.

They rehashed like the first half of AOE, and "evil optimus" was boring and underused. Cogman was just pretty much Dutch from DOTM. I found the comedy to get old really quick.
And most of the "new cons" were just lazy body re-uses, that's the exact opposite of being creative.
