I wonder if any third-party company is making a replica of that giant cannon... Dr. Wu, maybe?

Not really a fan. I know it's accurate to the animation model, but it looks plain. I like the original.

 

My personal thing is: I don't mind if it isn't exactly as it was in the original cartoon, provided it still basically looks like the character. It's even possible for some changes to improve the G1 cartoon look - to me the original Wheeljack is more "Wheeljacky" than this + version that's objectively more cartoon accurate.

Still, options are good so I have no problem with the + line. I have the Red Alert + and will probably get a Prowl + too. Might skip Wheeljack though. My current one is perfect.

The only episodes I can think of when he's firing his gun. Maybe 'Megatron's Master Plan pt. 2' when all the Autobots were in full force. But out of all of his appearances, these two are the only ones I can think of. Even the intro has him running into battle without his gun so guess who Brawn got the idea from.

 

One more Sam. 'Fire on the Mountain'.

 

Dr. Wu already released a weapons set. Not sure of a re-release.

 

You can't dare call MP-20+ plain because a certain couple of people will tell you to compare crayons & mayo.

Even though it quite obviously is plain to a fair few others...

Couldn't agree more with this. They were very fragile and unbelievably over the last four years I never broke mine until the day I was about to sell it and then I literally broke it that day......still managed to sell it for 40 pounds on e-bay!

I think Oku was referring to the type of plastic the wings were made of!?

You should try using some optrex?

 

 

Yeah, I think if we were to all check our original MP-20 most of us would find the outermost end (in bot mode) of the wings' hinges are cracked. A result of the brittle translucent plastic, tight joints, and there already being a seam on the joint. Similar case for the cassette birds and Ravage. Thankfully, though, Wheeljack's wings don't need to be folded to transform.

I think I prefer the 20+ car mode more than the original. Reminds me of staring at the original on the shelf back in the day. Pulled the trigger and po'd from AR
