Botcon 2015 was kinda running out of theme ideas so they just made it "outlaws from different dimensions team up" so they could just make whatever they wanted for the figures. One of them was that, it's DOTM Megatron from an alternate timeline where he kills Optimus and a Rodimus Prime arises. When he kicks Megatron's ass, Megatron instead chooses to just let himself fall through a space bridge and he ends up leading interdimensional outlaws.

TLDR, DOTM Megatron remolded from TF Prime Breakdown.

 

I now have a reason to buy a potp optimus prime.

 

It was actually released in TFP's Cyberverse line, along with a redecoed ROTF Sideways as Díno, (years before Takara did this with the Deluxe) and I think a DOTM Soundwave in TFP colors all in the same wave.

It occurs to me that, for as accurate as their alt modes tend to be, HasTak was never capable of making a trailer for Prime that wasn't off in its dimensions.

Among all the toy representations of the Sonic, the more accurate car mode one, as pictured in Houstonian Prime's image, is the flip changer version (accompanied by the AOE Power Battlers Vehicon if I'm not mistaken)

The one in the Breakout Scene/Farmageddon box set, called Rollbar, is a repaint of Skids as far as I'm aware

Back in the heydays of ROTF's toyline, I recall going to the store and finding this figure (the original mainline release). I don't understand why at the time I chose it, maybe it was so alien and unique that it appealed to me. It had EVERYTHING going against it, including the all popular Peaugh's scathing review of it. Yet there I was, with two disapproving parents in tow at me having chose this one. "You like cars, don't you?" "Why is that motorcycle so ugly?" Somehow this saga burned to a halt when I found the ice cream truck and my parents made me choose one and refund the other...only for me to have chose the ice cream truck at the time due to its "rarity" and then shortly after a week later, found a duplicate of the ice cream truck. I love that goofy truck thing, but to say I regret my decision would be the understatement of a century.

Arcee was never found again. I still don't quite dig motorcycles the way I do cars, but to this day I've always remained cool about Arcee's mental design and bike mode.

Thanks for the memories. If somebody produces an Arcee that is in good scale with MPM, without a moment's hesitation, I will buy it to avenge this love that never was

 

the Sonic is the AOE one-step changer Rollbar. the cemetary wind car is power attacker Vehicon w/ chainsaw gimmick.

 

Damn. You’re making me wish I bought that one step instead of buying a Crosscut and repainting him like the Sonic. To top that off, I coincidentally bought the Crosscut right before they announced the Farmageddon set... poor choices galore

seeing as rotf megs is a voyager, he cant be a leader class due to the ss scale. same thing for optimus. jetfire maybe.
