Arbutus Walmart restocked PotP wave 2 deluxes and voyagers. Still no leaders. Do they even carry them any more? There isn’t a shelf tag.

 

Frederick Target had Hun-Grr and Elita-1 this morning.

 

Owings Mills Walmart is doing their reset this week, according to the employee I spoke with today. They currently have PoTP wave 2 deluxes, but everything else is just wave 1(SS and primemasters, w/PoTP legends). No G1 reissues at all.  

 

Arbutus walmart reset their toy department. Still no shelf space for PotP leaders, but they are well stocked on Hungrr and Elita now. Geez. 4-5 of each. Something (non-TF related) weird about the layout too: they separated the SW black figures from the movie line toys. They are on completely opposite ends of the aisle.

 

I really wish my Walmart would've received some Hun-Gurrrs. I see alot of Walmarts around the country are piling them on.

My Walmart stocked the Grimlock/Starscream wave of Voyagers instead. There's literally over 10 of each at my store.

 

Yeah, thats what happened at one of the Glen Burnie stores. Take a trip down to scenic Arbutus and pick yourself up one. The heavy seas and new Guinness breweries are close by if you need an actual reason to come to the area (and you are of drinking age).

 

I would love to hit up the Arbutus Walmart for a Hun-Gurrr. Definitely tempted.

But, I'm in Elkton. It's an hour drive each way.

As of yesterday afternoon (8/8), the WalMart in DC near Union Station had POTP Swoop, Slag, and Snarl. The shelves were quite bare otherwise. There was only one other TF figure all by itself a few pegs away -- POTP Roadtrap, allowing me to complete Battletrap! One of my luckier finds in years.

 

Picked up Power Masters Bludgeon and Octopunch today at Hagerstown Target. One bludgeon left.

Deluxes were all wave 2 Dinobots and a couple Rippersnappers. The only scouts were 2 Shrapnels. They also had 4 SS Grimlocks and a bunch of the new CV stuff... saw Blurr, Megs, Bee and Prime. May have been more, but as I'm not interested in these simplified things, I didn't rifle through.

 

Whole bunch of elita and hung gurr on the risers at the Severn Walmart. Couple of dinobots and a single moonracer if anyone is looking for her.

 

Target on Ritchie Hwy put out a wave 2 leader case. Rod U and OP.

 

Hagerstown Walmart has around 15 hunn-garrs and elita ones

 

Target on Crain got a case of PotP wave 2 leaders. Rod U and OP are out. Also 4 Outbacks but no Cindersaurs.

 

So I hit a few Walmarts and Targets 2 of the last 3 days, and as for target, the TLK stuff that’s still there (if there) is 70% off. Combiner force (if any there) is 50% or 70% off, even if the sticker or customer scanner doesn’t discount it as deeply. A target employee’s handheld (or electronic desk) ought to have the correct discount. Almost each target had multiples of multiple leader class potp. Still disappointed I paid ~$55 at TRU for black unicronus/rodimus because I thought it might not surface in my area targets & their price matching didn’t show them available on sites of other major retailers.

Also, made my first visit to a Tuesday Morning store and picked up some mega construx motu & small dc figures for $3 each (they’ll scale reasonably well with MP TFs. Of course, after I get them, THEN Walmart decides to get the teela/beastman/Spock/Kirk line. But $3 is better than $5. I’m still looking for the faker, terminator line, but I guess I’ll have to just be patient and wait for the poor district to skip major retailers near me and end up in places like Tuesday Mornings & 5below at discounted rates.

Also, not an Marvel Legends collector (first/only set I’ve gotten was to get okoye & have since picked up a few Marvel & DC figures at this scale at low prices); but I was tempted to get the ML set for BAF apocalypse, as I think I saw them all, except magneto. I did pick up a storm, kilmonger/ross set and a carnage though (wow did that strike me as a spot on Kasady). I’ll probably keep them in box with the receipt until target does a real $25 off $100 deal so I can get the difference back (and perhaps other figures)

Germantown Target has a couple of Hun-grrs and a few Wave 2 POTP legends.

 

Just found Novastar at Arbutus Walmart.

 

How many did they have? I’m hoping to find one tomorrow
