My seller messaged to say he thinks he's getting them this week, which is cool. Might be here in time for my birthday in a couple of weeks. It's actually going to be a present from my boy as he wanted to buy me a Transformer, so hope he's not disappointed!

I'm surprised no other 3P MP company took a crack at this character.

One of my few regrettable purchases as well. It’s a poorly conceived/executed toy despite looking great.

I love this dude he looks amazing. Grant it I don't transform my collection much but he's solid in any pose and it's like he jumped out the screen

It's definitely without question the V2... My version 2 had the thicker parts, better joints and added die cast.

Gregg, how is the overall feel on this figure? XTB doesn't have a great record, at least to me, until recently with their crackup release.

Get two...one for you and one for him! Happy Early Birthday by the way! :)

Yeah mine is a V2 so I don't know if there is REALLY that much difference. I've heard some people say yes and others say it's pretty close to the same. Regardless, I agree with you that he's really cool looking on my shelf. Maybe if I was a transform it all the time figure it would be different...he does feel a little fragile. Still, I think he looks great and am very happy with mine. (add a thin rubber band from work and he's good to go with that sling shot!) :D

V1 absolutely. V2 fixed all the issues for me, heel spurs and hip flaps are a god send for overall poseability.

There is a night and day difference between the two. The first one is terrible. The second one...I've had no problems with. Seemed solid the one time I transformed it. The first I actually sold recently and wasn't willing to transform it back to alt mode to fit in the package as I wasn't confident if would survive transforming it back.

If people think their two are close to the same, I would question if they actually got a v2. The v1 is THAT bad...at least mine was.

This update is one of their great ones. The transformation isn't hard either, and the articulation is greatly improved.
