I have it on my strongest tank (Slug). He occupies defenses and outpost bots while the rest of the team does damage.

 

Micronus doesn't need to be on a healer. Healers hang back and so micronus might be out of range. Micronus works well when affecting multiple bots so it works on a gunner healing other gunners or a bot often in melee range to heal other melee bots.

Xp seen on the loading screen is total xp that can be gained divided by number of bots in shuttle. Actual xp gained is total xp divided to only the bots deployed. Z10 (4300) gives around total 26xp this event. So if you've 3 bots in the shuttle, you'll see around 8k on the loading screen. If you've 4 bots in the shuttle, you'll see around 6k on the loading screen.

 

Looking for some serious advice from any top player . I ha e amassed a lot of 4*’s but am hesitant on investing to much spark into 1 dude . What would your ideal top team consist of if you were cons ?

Thanks! I only just upgraded my headquarters enough to build the lab, haven't spent any spark yet. Will keep that in mind for sure. I was waffling on spending, willing to do so for sure. Gonna see if I continue enjoying the game and spend after that - was wondering what was worth buying, so that answers that.

Sounds good to me - once I am able to join an alliance (I think I'm one level away) I'll follow that path and see what I can do. I'm able to play pretty frequently if needed, work a desk job that I can easily step away from for a quick walk or run an attack on the side.

Side note - is it possible at all to get the other faction's robots at any point, or how does that work? I noticed that the collections tracked both factions, and for some (like Beast Wars) the Maximals and Predacons were in the same collection. Am I eventually able to get Autobots anyway, or do you just get to a point where you can run both sides?

Yes, you can collect the opposing faction bots. You can even set up teams of the opposing faction and raid with them. However, you cannot form opposing faction combiners and you cannot go to war with the opposing faction. So, you may get good Autobots, but don't waste much spark on them or spend too much time leveling them as they are only useful to a point. You get nothing from collections other than a ranking that doesn't help you in game at all. Collection ranking, and even medal rankings are only for pride.

I use a level 11 Liege Maximo on Hot Spot on my war team. Seems pretty effective to me. I love that Deathsaurus doesn't actually bang away on my team while they are stunned.

I thought the same way as you initially. After giving it a try, I would not remove it from my war team.

 

Yeah . There not on the same team for raiding , but lots of the time for wars .

 

Ahh, gotcha, that makes sense. From a collector's standpoint and a gameplay perspective, I like that solution and it makes sense. Also, I'm just now able to research bots and all available research options use energon and not spark - I assume that I can use energon up to a point in the research cycle and then spark is required to further progress?

 

Energon is for levelcap and spark is for ability. For now that ain't changing. You can use spark from the moment you get them.

 

I didn’t hit all my goals this last weekend as I just ran out of event. I retreated for two days to keep getting xp. I got Inferno to 50 and Lynx to 56. I had wanted to push AB and Jazz to 55 but didn’t quite get there. I did put almost 3 million xp on Jazz though which isn’t too shabby ( I was playing around with collages to show the before and after of xp gained). I also put almost a million xp on FA. I should easily be able to get the three of them up a level this weekend. Jazz and AB should then just be an ability level away from one shotting mortars which will be awesome.
