My pic from before was how Hasbro assembled it. For comparison, here’s the proper assembly as seen on UW Shuttler. The shoulders are what’s wrong.
A little bit, yes. But that’s how it was designed to go. Edit: You wanna end up with this: But with the misassembly, it ends up looking like this.
Possibly. Not sure that it's possible that Shuttler wasnt misassembled. I'll take what's a more aesthetically pleasing blast off arm over a not quite full bend for arm mode. To each their own though.
Well, no. You can see the tab that clicks the arm into that position. I certainly can’t argue with that though.
The way they are assembled right out of the box the arm is clearly meant to fold up forward toward the combiner peg. Since his arm isn't clipped into anything but itself who's to say it has to be one way or the other as long as it folds up right?
I just put mine back to the "original" shoulder locations after noticing that A. UW Strafe has his arms assembled so they fold forward and B. The "original" assembly allows BO's nosecone section to fit a bit tighter/more flush in arm mode; I've discovered.
If you do it this way, it won't pop off. C/o @siccoyote turn the nosecone so it is pointing Up, then push it Down.
I have the same problem. Even worse is trying to transform it back into a shuttle. I can't get it to clear the hull of the shuttle to go back into position. It pretty much always has to be partsformed. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Yep. It just seems like I either have to pop the nose cone off when transforming to shuttle or the cockpit windows really scrape hard against the plastic, which seems like a recipe for some quick and unsightly paint wear.
