Considering the pre-order thing. Doesn't seem like there are any strings attached.

bbts preorders are definitely no strings, id say go for it

 

TFSource also now has pre-orders up, same price. Their system works the same way. If you don't pay now and put it in your stack as a pre-order you can cancel anytime between now and when it comes in stock.

 

Yeah I went ahead and grabbed a BBTS preorder, they already have my PoL, but if I can get lucky and pick up the HTS for cheaper that'd be dope.

 

If BBTS and TFS have it listed, there's a chance HasbroToyShop might have more than they expected. Or they're deliberately playing the "Exclusive Now" and "Available online again later" like they did with TR Brainstorm.

 

bbts and tfs are listing the takara release, not the hasbrotoyshop release. hence the $20 markup (which tracks with how nemesis prime was marked up) and the release date of january

 

Honestly, as a regular PoL keeper at BBTS, there's not going to be a big difference in price - sales tax + shipping from HTS will probably get to around $15 for me. Now, I'll try HTS not for the $5 but for the expediency (I'm super entertained by the idea of getting the exclusive version of the mold before I ever see the retail one anywhere), but that price really changes it from an "I will be glued to my computer" to an "I'll check HTS if I'm free" situation.

 

I'm keeping an open mind, but for reasons linking to some toyline I can't QUITE remember right now (maybe the Rock Lords movie?) I'm really attached to the idea of the throne having a component that rotates, presenting itself to the Prime, for the prime masters to be entered one by one.

Regardless, still interested in seeing whatever concepts your friend has as initial drafts.  

Not related to the slots for the prime masters or matrixes, I'd really like to see a spot in the throne setup for the peg at the top of the Sceptre of Sparks. Let Primal have that classic pose of inverted weapon between the legs, hands on the pommel.

 

TFsource makes it difficult to cancel preorders. You have to contact their customer service and beg. edit: they also run your credit card the minute you hit preorder as a hold on your funds.

BBTS 4 Life $4 shipping is a small price for a peace of mind in case something unexpected comes up.

I've pre-ordered several times from TFSource and as long as you use the Stack you don't pay until the item is in stock. I was able to cancel my Wave 3 PotP preorder in seconds because I ended up finding them in store. Was literally cancelling the pre-order on my way to the checkout.

 

My mistake. Didn't know they had that option. It's been a really long time since I've tried ordering from them. Pile of Loot is my comfort zone.

I'll find out the fun way IF I can get one through HasbroToyShop, they gave me a coupon for $10 off $50 purchase when my PoTP HunGrr came in the mail... which expires... Two days after Throne Munky comes out.

I'm gonna say no, and have all 12 primes for the ring, the 13 on the throne, that leaves the special color translucent primes to be used on the scepter and/or additional spaces on the throne for the placement of the special color translucent ones, thus if those who bought all the primemasters there is a spot for them all.

I really think that those faces of the poll losers on the throne should of been spots for placement of extraneous primes that those of us have gotten by buying the special editions deluxes ect. so we have someplace else to display them instead of leaving them in the packages.

Thoughts anybody?

in my opinion on the ring throne things, i say, if possible, have the 12 slot ring come with 4 slot fillers for those that want to/can only put the retail Primemasters on the ring.

also, cost effective and alignment neutral, to gather potential sales for Grimlock, Elita-1 thrones, ect.
