So what's the play...put a pre-order down on BBTS just in case the HTS release doesn't play out?

Same here. Placed a preorder with BBTS. It will save me about $10 with HTS so I will try for that, but I'm not worried.

question for everyone, i regularly speak with an individual who does upgrades and im putting forth this idea to him. would a non cardboard throne be something yall would want? even if it was an original design but still allowed for all 13 primemasters to be slotted into it?

Yes. But it would depend on the price/appearance. I don't need something exactly like the "retail" version, that is play down the Maximal symbology and the faces of the poll losers and focus on the nailing down the halo. I'd love something where instead of it being a rotating gimmick behind the throne it was a ring around the base of the Throne so that when the Prime is seated in the middle he or she is surrounded by it.

A ring of the 12 primes around the base, with a slot for the 13th in the throne itself.

Also, you could outright remove the Maximal stuff, so if someone wanted to put Siege/CW Magnus or MP Shockwave on the throne and pretend that they won the fan vote, it wouldn't look off with a giant Maximal symbol in the back.

Yes. Make the throne faction neutral. Instead of a giant Maximal symbol consider making the crest at the top of the throne a place to put The 13th. That way whoever sits in it is repping the Primes.

I agree with both of y’all, inexpensive would be a priority and definitely make it useable by more than just primal. I was thinking possibly have cutouts in the throne itself for 8 or 9 primemasters with the remaining 4 going in the scepter and maybe one as primals matrix core. Hopefully he thinks it’s a worthwhile idea

I like the wheel, personally, at least in concept (has kind of a Stargate vibe). But yeah, keep cost on the low side and don't make it too Primal-specific.

I would like something like that but instead of a ring, two arches above the throne to put the Prime Masters in.

I’m proposing a non cardboard throne to a guy I regularly speak with that does upgrades. Wanted to see if people would actually go for one

The wheel is pretty cool, but moving parts equals more money :p

Here's a thought maybe instead of having the prime Masters plug-in by the tab on the back of their legs have them connect with their little heads that way the throne could also be used to display Titan Masters in head mode.

If it is affordable, and ships to Puerto Rico I'd be fine with and exact replica of HasTak's design. :)

what if the wheel was a ring around the base of the throne rather than something that spins?

if it were to happen it probably wouldnt be an exact replica for legal reasons id imagine. if nothing else i might get a buddy of mine that is just getting into 3d design and printing to whip something up

That assumes the figure using the throne has a Matrix slot.

Eight around the throne works as there are 8 available at retail. The ninth is Predaking, also available at "retail." So a prominent 9th slot on the throne itself gives people who picked up everything but the ToP set space for their Primes.

That leaves the 4 that come with Primal himself to go in the scepter...which anyone who buys the figure will have in hand. And there's no concern for if the figure that sits in the throne can hold a Matrix chamber or not.
