I’ve had these guys for a while now (along with Grimlock) and I think I want to start collecting MPs for real now.

 

Dinobozo arrived today via Amazon Japan. What a BEAST!!!  

 

I usually cringe at mis-transformed backpacks on the Tracks mould (intentional or not), but that's actually a really neat orientation you've got it in there

Still in awe at the size of this one. Absolute unit. Such a fun figure.

 

I had read that Star Saber was designed by the same person who did the original G1 figure (correct me if I'm wrong) but I was always a tad disappointed that they didn't make the headmaster transform and instead opted for the little guy/face slide gimmick. Other than that, I've been meaning to pick the set up for a long time, but had read of some QC issues with the chrome and the joints. Still, it looks magnificent, I wish I had a more private back yard so I could take some photos in my garden without feeling self-conscious. Great photos!

I’m not sure about anyone else, but my figure is basically perfect chrome and joints wise. My only problem was the shield handle broke off in packaging, but I super glued it back on.

I also did a quick search, and I don’t think it’s the same guy.

 

I finally decided to dip my toe into the Masterpiece line with Year of the Goat Soundwave, because I thought that getting 5 mini transformers would be cool and so many of the Masterpieces are cars and I'm not really a car formers guy, also he was $120 and I had some money left in my budget. He's quite fun, though it took me a while to figure out how to get his knees to go in. The clear plastic does wash out some of the detail, but I kind of dig it overall.

 

These were my first 2 MPs as well- got me to fully dive in (especially Streak)

Same here - many said it's too gappy and loose, but if you tab it in to the sides it is very secure and the gap from the sides is minimal, IMO

Is MP-9 getting reissued or I’m missing something here?
Can somebody confirm this?

 

IIRC, there was mention a while back of him getting a hasbro asia reissue. I don't know the validity of it though since it hasn't been publicized very much

 

Yeah,hopefully it gets reissued with the QC fixes,otherwise I’m not sure if I’d want to get this.

 

Same here. I'm interested in getting an MP Rodimus if his issues are fixed.

 

The banana crate was probably the best idea that HasTak has had for an extra. I forget - do they actually come with bananas?
