Studio Series deluxes were ringing up at $10 at the Wal-mart in Norristown. We got Jazz, Bumblebee, Lockdown, and Stinger. They have a Stinger and Crowbar left.

Carnegie Walmart - I actually saw new stuff, but nothing I needed.

POTP: 1x Rippersnapper (package a bit beaten up), 1x Snarl, 1x Starscream, 1 or 2 Tailgate, 1 or 2 Shrapnel. can't remember what else in terms of Legends class. No Prime Masters or Leaders. No evidence that Studio Series deluxes were marked down (saw that reported in one of the threads around here).

Did they ever start carrying toys? Back when I was in the area for college, my friends were buying tons of comics and Magic cards there. He once told one of them who was on the business track, as part of a feasability study, that he could not have even started a store if he didn't inherit his fixtures for practically nothing.

John bought the business from the previous owner Mike (currently in jail for murder). He's moved his store within the mall several times, but now moved to a plaza because the mall is failing.
I think he stopped carrying Magic, but has moved to Warhammer and other TTG's. He's also big into statues, though comics are still the foundation.
He does carry toys, specifically DC and Marvel, but sometimes has older stuff like McFarlane and occasionally Transformers, but I think they come from outside and not from a dealer account.

The lonely POTP Jazz in the Exton Walmart finally has a peg buddy in a single Rippersnapper.

A couple each of SS Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Crowbar round out their Transformer offerings.

What the hell? That's something I didn't know.

Currently as far as toys go, they try to stay somewhat current. They'll have Pops, Marvel Legends (Warlock wave being the most recent), DC stuff and statues. I have seen Transformers in there. The recent example being Sixshot. They have gotten Mezco One:12 figures too.

For Magic, they still sell some singles, but they stopped doing FNM and prereleases.

Not surprised to hear that mall's in trouble. We used to pile into somebody's car and go to Hagerstown if we had a choice.

Long story short- he was having an affair, then convicted of killing his wife in his comic store in Windber claiming it was a break-in.

I need to stop in there some time. Haven't seen the new digs yet.

The murder wasn't in Windber (I live somewhat close to there), it was somewhere in Michigan (Clinton Township).

That case was kind of a big story there for a while.

Uwchlan Target has a selection of POTP Swoops and Slags along with Optimus and Grimlock, as well as one Rodimus Prime.

For Studio Series they have a couple each of Starscream and Optimus.

    Oh shit, you're right.
It's been a while and I got my locations mixed up. I grew up in Windber, so it was a big deal there as well.

Whole stock of Cyberverse at Target Plymouth Meeting, for anyone interested:

Also, wave 3 legends along with PotP Optimus and both Rodimuses (Rodimi?). I bought the Outback as a gift to my brother, and he wasn’t in the system at checkout. The cashier was nice enough to ring it up at 5.99(!). Two Cindersaurs remain.

Yeah, not the Windber store. I grew up in Johnstown. Where you at?

Also, Mike's case was on Dateline. I will see if I can find it for anybody interested.

Picked up the legends mark 7 from target in montgomeryville. Looks like they have most of the 10 year sets.

I didn’t feel like going through the hassle of having someone check the back, so I just ordered online and used “pick up in store”.

Oh.. and masterpiece Dinobot arrived today.. and boy is he bigger than I expected. I mean, I knew he was going to be big, but not this big. Awesome.

Be careful, I just watched diecast's review. And the arm/shoulder ratchet broke while he filmed his review.

This past weekend I found wave 3 of the Prime Masters. At ReplayFX of all places. The guy had the Abominus figures, too, but they were way overpriced. I don't know why his PMs were $7 a pop while the deluxes were $28. Bizarre. Oh well, at least one part of that collection is filled.

I got Nemesis Prime in the mail from Amazon today. The first of the four (five, if you count Wreck-Gar?) exclusives. Still a little annoyed they all dropped almost at the same time, but whatever...

Nemesis looks amazing, the added weapons are great, pretty happy overall. I do have nitpicks, though. The smaller figure's leg joints are all loose, and the ball joint for his head is suuuuper tight. One of the trailer panels is warped, but not enough to cause issues, thankfully. As far as my luck with Hasbro QA, I got damned lucky. Maybe someday Nemesis will be an actual character instead of just exclusive fodder, and I won't feel quite as bad playing around with one.
