Unf. God, Bruticus feels even closer to perfect now.

 

Like a some others, I got my Blast Off yesterday!


So now my G1 Bruticus is complete! Well...still need to get the PE kits for him. I'm thinking about doing the KO black head and guns set as well as the black hands and feet


Megatronis and Jetwash (TOTALLY stealing that name repurpose) went to Emperor Starscream.

 

Oh, I'm used to them jerking me around on the 1,2, whatever day they promise it'll be but they usually charge me when it ships. Like when USPS or UPS tracking updates and you don't know what it is (because they don't tell you 'til the next business day). This was different. They shipped it from Baltimore today (I know because I have Informed Delivery from the USPS) but they charged me on Tuesday or Wednesday (I can't remember, it's been a bad week). They haven't done that before. To make matters even worse? My bank informed that an Amazon charge was reversed (and I confirmed, it was) so they don't have their money and the figure's on its way to me and I've never had this happen before.

I'm not even sure how to fix it. I certainly don't want them doubledipping when they figure out their mistake. I want to see if they reauthorize the charges, I'm more than happy to pay for it, I just want to pay what I actually owe. Oddly, I'm not the only one this happened to. A guy in one of the FB groups bought Nemesis Prime, then the transaction was frozen because they couldn't authorize his payment which he had used to just buy the figure, the same method he uses on Amazon all the time.

I think something went off the rails during Prime Day and they haven't been able to fix it.

Replace Offroad with Ghost Starscream and make him an arm, and I would agree. Offroad kind of stands out for being the only non-jet.

 

That's just weird... having the torso and a single arm be starscream? now if EVERY LIMB WAS A STARSCREAM, THEN WE'D BE ROLLING!!!! TAKE THE HINT HASBRO/TAKARA!!!!!

 

Went and got another. Third time's a charm - they finally got Blast-Off Right. I'm going to repaint the second one into a custom combiner limb.

 

I'm getting a second one also, and paint it into G2 Blast Off, so that Combiner Wars G2 Bruticus will be a repaint of CW G1 Bruticus again.

 

I hate that this cool stuff is coming out as exclusives while I'm broke. Argh!!!

Excited to see more of everyone else's in-hand, though! It's free to live vicariously!

I actually wanted to do that, but the Ghost Starscream figures are just so expensive it prevents me from doing it. So Offroad gets to be on team jet.

 

my blast off has a delivery date of august 1st-3rd yet still won't ship

 

Yeah, mine is 1-4 and is said to be delivered saturday but still hasn't shipped. Ar this point, I'm just happy I was able to order it. I guess the waiting is the price to pay for not spending $99 for prime membership.

 

Got this in Sunday. Not sure why I got it, since I don't actually have the rest of the CW Combaticons, but its definitely a nice figure. I also really liked the packaging. I'm guessing its not cost effective (and prolly takes an inefficient amount of space on the shelf of a store), but I kinda wish all Deluxe class figures came in boxes like that.
