This. If anything, 3P has stuck it to Takara and chipped away at THEIR profits by releasing the remaining characters quickly. Takara lost ground on the G1 MP line years ago

I bet preordering him from Amazon Japan he’ll run around $80 or less, just like Sunstreaker.

They basically just used his MPs for reference, just like they did with POTP Optimus. Doesn’t mean he designed them

 

Existing doesnt take away from the fact that they are still too slow with releases and allowed multiple 3P companies to flourish from their sluggish pace

 

It cannot be December, December and January orders are already closed. The earliest he could be is February.

 

Finally, we get a new G1 MP that isn't a repaint (or a new toy for someone who already has a dozen figures). And it doesn't surprise me that we got MP-20+ as well.

 

Just make sure to keep doing whatever it is you've been doing to ensure 2019-2020 pan out just as you predicted!

Nailed on this will be just as oversized in alt mode. There's no seams to magically shrink that chest that looks as big as Prowl. And thats fine. Both Tracks and Wheeljack are off too and no-one cares.

Also this isn't showing anyone up. Ppl need to get over that. The third party versions of Hound and Sunstreaker are years old, multiple reissues in and long sold out. Who exactly is it being stuck to? Third parties have made their money a long time ago. They don't care. Your fellow fan? If so that's fucked up.

 

With new Takara pricing the new hound should only be..let’s see Dinobot $250.00, Megatron T-Rex $350.00...so most car bots around $80....Takara Hound price a low low low $175.00!

Hound from front looks awesome but I’m not sure why the shoulder cannon and head are on a rail and not just a peg or neck attachment. I like how Fanstoys did the head. I also like the ability to remove the rocket launcher. Not sure this is even possible on this Hound. I will get this guy but he should be cheaper than Sunstreaker based on the look of his transformation complexity.
