Hi Fairlady Z logo is still present. That alone tells me that it isn't a + repaint

I bet you this is some animation error.

 

Nah, it's just the lighting. There would've been drastic changes in the cannons and paint if they wanted it to be in the + line.

 

I'm surprised they jumped to Wheeljack and thought for sure Streak was next due to Prowl. I suspect they want to mix it up a bit and not release multiple Datsuns at once to avoid fatigue of the figures.

Streak seemed to be the one that I felt never look right to me since date I got him in hand. Too dark and all most regretted getting rid of the Tokyo Toy Show exclusive one but now I have no regrets or until they fool us and don't do a "+" version.

 

Well there is a rumor that so far is 50% right,with Jazz and Mirage coming, we could easily see his plus if one or both of those happen.

 

Well, shit. Looks like I’ll be get this version of Wheeljack, too. Fuck, at this rate, I might as well get cartoon Prowl also.

 

Pleased for those who have been holding out for this guy for so long, though I am happy with my car accurate version personally.

 

I found a different angle version of the figure that isn't as blurry, but I don't think it's the lighting. In this one from the V3 Prime thread, his face seems lighter and not metallic, also his bicep seems lighter.

 

The Nissan logo is picked out in silver, that’s regular streak.

Agree to disagree really. With the MP-18 mold being older than the others displayed, rationally it doesn't fit for their showcase of "newer" MP variants, unless of course it is a plus version.

 

Very nice. Not sure if ill pick this guy up. I did my original MP-20 with all the sponsor logos etc. from toyhax and he looks amazing.

 

The plus would resemble @Sam custom he did. There is a pretty noticeable difference between them. His legs would probably be painted too, if he was a plus

This is leaps and bounds better than the current ones out. Lighting up that silver just makes everything pop better IMO and cartoon accurate most importantly.

I must be one of the few MP collectors who likes getting regular and '+' versions of figures. But then I'm probably one of the few who has separate Toy and Toon shelves. And that Toon shelf is gettin' kinda full now.
